He looked at her with loving eyes as he spoke his words were full of warmth. 

"Though I am a god, I feel the same feelings you do. I have been alone for an excruciatingly painful amount of time. I wouldn't offer for you to be my mate if I didn't feel as though I could spend my life with you. Your family are the fools who didn't realize the wonderful treasure they had. I do have a question. What's a city?"

 a little confused by his question she tilts her head to the side.

 "a country is a large number of people who follow the same rules and occupy a massive amount of land. A village will have 50 to a couple hundred people while a town will have a couple hundred to a couple thousand. Then next is a small city then a large city then a state. The United States is made up of 50 states making a country. My home country has 400,000,000 people. On earth there are 7 continents and the world in total has more than a trillion people. That's not including all the animals. Does that answer your question?" the room was deathly silent. 

Looking at everyone's wide eyes she wonders if she did something wrong. Leo snapped out of it first, looking at Sonya he could tell she was beginning to close herself up again after seeing our reactions. 

"You didn't say anything wrong Sonya, we are just surprised at the sheer number of humans. And the massive amount of Fertility human woman carries within their bodies." He smiles at her as he finishes. Surprise and understanding flashed across her face before it was replaced by a dark shadow.

Her eyes darkened as she spoke very seriously. 

"Although our numbers are extremely large, a lot of people have forgotten the importance of protecting the weak" her face and voice dripping in sadness. She stared at the wall for a moment like she was lost in a memory.

After coming back to herself she looks over at Leo not wanting to beat around the bush but also scared to hear his response she asks in a somewhat shaky voice. "If my cycle starts tomorrow and though I am female I end up not having pheromones.... Will you leave me too?"

Leo looked at her pale face, her lips trembling slightly and her big green eyes filled with fear. Smiling at her gently, Leo crawls very slowly over to her. He stops close enough for her to feel his warmth but not close enough for her to feel she is trapped. Smiling widely he says in a confident voice. 

"Women, you were mine from the moment you fell from the sky into my arms." Tears slipped from her eyes.

 "I wish I could believe you. We'll have to see tomorrow if you still want me. If you do... I won't turn you away and instead will go with you. To your island..." she whispers, her cheeks flushing. 

 Both Leo and Sonya were shocked as the older beast women spoke up. 

"Very well then, you are welcome to stay in our old home. We don't use it anymore since moving into the city, but it would be a lot safer just in case. It's right next to the stream about 10 miles outside of the city." She continues to speak as she walks out of the room her voice getting louder so we can hear. 

Leo and I exchange looks and giggle a little bit over her protective bantering. The shaman jumps up off the floor rushing over to the older woman as she walks into the room with a pile of furs in her arms. Taking them from her he kisses her lightly on the cheek. Placing the clothes on the floor the shaman beckons Leo to follow him out. Leo looks to Sonya giving her a reassuring smile. 

He says, "I'll see you when you come out."

As Leo leaves the room the older woman comes over to her. Squatting in front of Sonya she offers her a hand.
