41. Fox tribe





Hunter and ember each held one of her hands while Frost and Gem stayed close behind her. She was escorted to a green forest mountain that had different different dirt dobber homes surrounding it.

Noticing her looking around Hunter spoke up in a deep voice.
"Most of those are just entrances, being foxes we like to make our homes underground."

Diamond made an oh face before her eyes count movement fast approaching.
Frost and Gem jumped in front of her, ready to face any threat.

"Sigh, it's okay guys. Step back."

Frost and Gem both looked at her to make sure she was really fine. They nodded to her but only moved to the side.

A group of 12 fox cubs came running to her. Stopping at her feet they try and surround her.

Squatting down she takes her hands back as she runs her fingers in their fur.

"Awe, you all are so cute! How can I help you little ones?" She asked.

"I can tell you what they say if you want." Ember offered.

Turning her head to him she smiles brightly as she tells him.

"Thanks but I can understand them perfectly."

They were all surprised when they heard that.
She giggled at their reactions, blushing as she went back to loving on the fox cubs.

"Female, female your wings are so pretty!" One of the little foxes said.

Diamond was shocked, looking behind her she sighed lightly. Looking back at the little cubs.

"Thank you little ones, I was so focused on building my wall I forgot I had them out." She giggled, folding her wings in. Her crown shinnered before fading away.

"Pretty female, what's the wall for?" One of the cubs asked.

"Well it might be a little hard to understand but I'm building the foundation of a tribe. Starting with walls that are large enough to patrol on top of." She patiently said.

"Alright guys, let the goddess sit down and get comfortable, I'm sure she would like to eat." Ember said as he shooed them back to their mother beasts.

Diamond watched them run off, feeling a little reluctant.

She is quickly brought to a large nest filled with different soft furs. As she gets comfortable and looks around for her brothers, she starts to feel nervous when she couldn't see them.  As she went to ask frost where they were, four beastmen stepped up to her. Each held a leaf filled with different kinds of food.

Before the beastmen could hand her the food, Alpha landed in front of them. Closing his wings as he landed, looking at the two holding meat.

"She is unable to eat raw meat, it will make her sick."  Alpha informed them.

Seeing the beastmen looking sad with their drooping ears and tail, diamond spoke up.

"I'm sorry, I know it's a hassle. I do thank you for your hard work tho. I know with it being so close to winter, any food offered is appreciated thank you."

Their ears perked up, tails swaying.

'This female is so nice.' They collectively thought.

After the two with raw meat left, alpha stepped to the side allowing for the other two with fruit to come through.

"Little sister, brother Zeus is making you some food. Eat some fruits first."
Alpha said as he looked at her to make sure she was going to eat.

Diamond sighed, pouting her lips before seeming to relax and take one of the fruits. After eating one she looked over with a 'im eating okay' look.
