25. chaos

Sonya peered out over the treetops and open sky that she had grown to love over the years. A smile graces her face as she recalls the memories she has created since coming to this world.
She spent the first 50 years finding all the edible foods she could while improving the living conditions of the island and city. She shared all the knowledge she could, focusing a lot on gardening, and hygiene. Creating shampoos and conditioners along with body wash and hand soap.

 
For the next 50 years, Sonya shared her knowledge of literature and art, showing those who desired to learn, how to read and write. From painting to creating a variety of different things. After many years the hidden city and island have had an abundance of growth, and none starve during winter anymore. Many children have been born, sadly in the 100 years Sonya has spent in the beast world.

 
She has noticed that while the living conditions have greatly improved the fertility rate of females is still dropping. Even she has only had a horde of boys.
Letting out a deep sigh, Sonya runs her hand over her belly. 

"Your mommies only little girl."

 
'what a beautiful sight.' Leo thought as he came to the door. Gazing at Sonya full of warmth, slowly and quietly he makes his way to her side. Their eyes catch each other's as he takes the last few steps towards her.

Sonya returned his smile with one of her own, though it started to fade. Leo not able to stand her worried face, gave her the strawberry slushy as he fixed himself next to her. 

"Talk to me, Sonya what's going through your mind to have you so worried?" Leo asks. 

Though her worries manifested, in the form of tears they quietly slipped from her eyes, flowing down her slightly flushed cheeks. 

Placing his hand over hers to rest on her belly infusing his powers through her to check on both of their conditions. Sucking in a deep breath, Leo fights himself to keep his cool as he reaches out mentally to the sacred tree. 

Not but a few minutes later, the wooden wall behind their seat began to show movement as a new tree limb of the brightest green grew out of the side, moving around the two in the form of a cocoon. The branch sprouted lush leaves that formed over Sonya's protruding belly. The leaves gently tremble as the tree of life slowly asses in checking on them. 

"Leo?!?" Sonya questions. Her worry and fears were heard through her every syllable.
Keeping his hand over hers under the leaves, Leo uses his other to gently caress her hair. Fluttering kisses on her temples. 

Leo and the Tree of Life have a silent conversation between the two of them, one that Leo is not fully okay with as his body begins to tremble and the heat begins to rise around him. His pheromones turned heavy and Sharpe like an unsheathed blade.

 
"ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU STOP!" Sonya yelled as her anger burst from her. Their silent conversation and keeping her in the dark have her boiling over.
Taking a deep breath she looks between the two. 

"So which one of you are going to tell me what's going on!?!" she questions as boldly as she can. 

Finally, Leo has gathered up his courage. "Our daughter has formed chaos, that's the power of the primordial god. The source of power itself, we knew that baring a fertility goddess would be extremely difficult but this is different. This is the birth of a new god, unlike me, her father who raised to divinity. Our daughter will be born already a god. She will have far more power than we ever would have imagined. Since she has formed chaos it would be best if she could spend the rest of her time and be birthed within the flow of chaos. Staying there would be hard for you, however, if you deliver her here there is a very slim chance you would service." Leo slowly explained to Sonya, drawing soothing circles over her belly.

 
"I'll make a rip in space and carry you through, time runs faster so it shouldn't take long inside. Before we go you should worry about finishing your slushy. It's okay I'll protect you!" Leo comforts Sonya.

Leo and the Tree of Life each move back, giving Sonya the space she needs to process the information she has received. 

"Since our daughter will be born a god, does that mean she will be born without the understanding to control it?!?" 

Chuckling, Leo smiles as he responds to her. "My queen, have you already forgotten that our little girl will be born with her memories from your old world?"

After a few moments of silence, Sonya collected her emotions. The Tree of Life began explaining a little more to the nervous couple. 

"Although the chance of this happening was close to zero, it would seem your daughter has been absorbing chaos probably since the moment she died in her last world. When Leo found her, the speed at which she was absorbing the chaos aura amplified. As promised, when Leo blessed her, she became chaos. Thus giving birth to this world's first goddess of fertility. With her many powers, she will be able to bless the other females to birth more female cubs."

 
"Currently as we speak, all aura over the entire celestial beast world is heading this way. We must not hesitate any longer, the strength of the aura required to birth a goddess of fertility is enough to drain this world! Leo, as soon as she is born, I'll bring Sonya back. The beasts here will help, you must not leave your daughter's side until her cocoon breaks!"

 
As the seriousness of their daughter's birth sinks in, Leo feels a chill run down his back. Grabbing Sonya's hand he gave her a deep kiss before placing the strongest winds barrier around her head so she didn't run out of oxygen. Taking a deep breath Leo reaches in front of them, ripping a hole in space.

 
"Let's go my queen, it's time. I promise I won't return without our daughter."

 
As chaos started to flow threw the Rip in space a scream ripped through Sonya's lips as her water broke and her contractions came as fast as lightning. Cradling Sonya to his chest Leo lept through the whole.

 
Powerful waves of chaos aura surrounded Sonya as though she were the center of a forming tsunami. Holding onto Sonya firmly so the waves of aura don't take her out of reach.

 
Sonya pale with sweat from the pain switches between whimpering and screaming, as her contractions come faster and shorted between. The tree of life reached out its limbs allowing Leo to place Sonya atop the lush leaves, wrapping Sonya securely in place.

 
"It's time Sonya! Just like we practiced, you can do it.  Believe in your mate and yourself to bring your long awaited daughter home!" the tree of life spoke firmly his words full of belief and conviction.
