10. relaxation

"Leo...." Sonya grumbled out as her eyes began to flutter open. 

Her Emerald green eyes looked up at Leo, confusion apparent in her beautiful face. 

"You stepped in a poisonous flower, the thorn cut your leg. Thanks to this baby snake, you were able to wake up." Leo told Sonya as he soothingly smoothed her hair as he spoke. Sonya's face showed a myriad of expressions as she digested what he said.

 
Finally filled with clarity she reaches out to the small snake that rested on her lap. Running one of her fingers over its head, she spoke warmly as she smiled at the small snake. 

"Thank you little one for saving me." Turning back to Leo she smiles shyly as she has trouble meeting his eyes. "I'm sorry for making you worried, I was trying to make it to the front of the tree taking the path we took..... it was pitch black and I couldn't even see my hand in front of my face. I felt so much fear, I remember running and running."

 taking shaky breaths as tears fall from her eyes. 

"I keep causing you trouble." She whispers out.

 Leo had no trouble hearing her words and grabbed her chin between his fingers. 

"Yes, I was worried, my mate. No matter what trouble you cause or who comes looking for it, I want you to be safe and happy." Leo tells her as he lays feather-light kisses over her tear-streaked face.

 
After taking a moment to collect herself, Sonya dried her now red and slightly puffy eyes. Setting up in Leo's lap for the first time since she awoke. 

"Gasp" 

her hands flew to her mouth as she took in her surroundings. Directly in front of her lay the massive fire, a few places behind it the river flowed. Two massive moons and thousands of stars reflected off the water's surface. Following the opening of grass grew glowing plants. Hundreds of little glowing bugs of different colors flew around them. The whole clearing twinkled and sparkled, leaving every area visible to her, as well as showing her how far it safe to walk around. Smiling widely, she turns to Leo, with her delicate hands clasped in front of her chest. Before she could get a single word out, her belly made a loud grumbling noise. Her face flushes brightly as she puts her hands to her tummy. 

"Haha, I do believe we need to feed you first, don't worry. The two little bears did a great job, you'll be able to enjoy it to your heart's content." Leo said as he lightly bopped her in the nose. 

A clearing throat drew their attention. "We cooked some fish for you," Keith said as he reached out both hands, a large waxy leaf setting over his palms like a plate. 

With two roasted fish atop. Keith's face burned as he remembered Sonya's praising words, coupled with the beast gods' words. He felt as though he was atop a cloud. Leo took the food from him, inclining his head in a short nod in thanks to the beast-man. Leo knew he could have gone and made it himself for his little mate, feeling her pheromones growing in strength and seeing her hurt. Leo was unable to get himself to let her go. So, he was secretly pleased with the beastmans actions. At first taste, Sonya moaned out in delight. 

"This is so good" as she continues to eat. When she goes to have the second one, she stops. Looking up at Leo a blush creeps over her cheeks as she nipples on her bottom lip. 

"Do you want the second one? You have to be hungry after taking care of me for so long." Her voice was gentle but that didn't hide the serious tone in her words. 

"You don't have to worry about me, I'll be sure to have my fill after you are done." He replies smoothly. 

Sonya still doubted his words and decided that she would share her last fish with him. Taking some in her fingers she brings it up to his mouth, waiting for him to take it.
Giving Sonya a sexy smirk, his eyes shine and sparkle as he wraps his lips around her fingers. Lapping his tongue suggestively around and in between her fingers. Panting slightly, she pulls her hand away from his seductive mouth as she lightly smacks him in the arm. 

"You...you behave yourself!" she pants out as though she ran a marathon. Smiling cheekily Leo bellows out a hearty laugh as he looks lovingly at his beautiful mate.
Having finished her food, Sonya lightly taps Leo's legs. 

"Okay, let me up." 

Seeing the excitement on her face, Leo reluctantly released her. Sonya quickly leaned over as she placed a quick kiss on Leo's cheek before bouncing off towards the water. Sonya kneeled at the edge of the water, the soft fine sand cushioning her legs. She washed her hands before bringing the lukewarm water to her lips. Feeling refreshed Sonya and the little snake slowly walked over to the glowing foliage. Feeling the soft fluffy texture, she was completely amazed. Kyle stood off to the side watching Sonya and the surroundings as though he was a guard. Sonya, who was in her delightful world, was startled to hear Kyle's voice.

"You can walk on it; the moss will help clean your feet and will feel nice too." He told her as he nonchalantly scratched the back of his head. 

His dark brown ear twitched lightly as he spoke to her. Sonya didn't respond right away as she slowly made her way to the moss. Feeling it slide between her toes had her bursting into light giggles. Sonya followed the path happily walking along as twinkling bugs flew around her. Some would perch on her hands when she would stop, pulling more cheerful giggles from her. Feeling giddy she moved off the moss and back into the sand. Squatting down she lowers the baby snake. 

"Go have fun, thank you for spending time with me. Let's play some more later." Sonya tells the baby snake as she gently rubs under his chin. 

Hissing a few times, the baby snake rubs his head against her hand before diving into the moist moss in heavenly bliss. Giggling at the little snakes' actions Sonya makes her way back to the water. She seems to be unable to quench her thirst. After taking a few mouth Fulls, she is still unable to douse the burning heat that radiates from her belly. Feeling confused and unsatisfied she turns her head up to the sky taking sight. Her nose began to twitch as a mouthwatering scent filled her nose. 

"Chocolate" she whispered as she felt her bones shake in anticipation. 'What am I anticipating?' she wondered to herself. As though she was lost in a daze, Sonya followed her nose as it led her to the source of the delectable smell.

Leo watched as Sonya danced and giggled. Gone were the fear, worry, and stress. Leaving behind a radiating flower. Seeing both of the bear beastmen watching over her Leo stood from his spot at the fire, calling over Keith with a wave of his hand. 

"I'm leaving Sonya in your care. I'm going to get our room and stuff ready; I have a feeling she will be tired soon." Leo said as he stared off at Sonya who was giggling as a little light bug landed on her nose. 

Leo was grinning like a fool as Keith began, drawing Leo's attention back to him. 

"My lord... My brother and I took it upon ourselves to prep the house for you both after we finished out here." Keith trailed off as his nerves wrecked his speaking, leaving his mouth flapping while no words came. Chuckling at the younger beastman, Leo patted his back as he made his way to the tree house. 

Leo was surprised at the brother's thoughtfulness. The once dark tree house was alit. Small glowing vines along the walls, small flowers bloomed in spots of the vines. They wrapped around the room in a soft glow. Leo made his way to the top floor and couldn't help but smile.  The once leaf-filled bed was replaced. A thick patch of moss grew out of the tree floor, it was as thick as Leo's thigh. while wide enough to easily fit three people, The moss was topped with soft furs.

 
The same vines ran along the top, the small flowers looking like glowing distant stars. Leo was very pleased, he could already imagine Sonya spread out across the furs. Her milky skin flushed with need. Leo growled at himself as he brought himself back under control. Seeing how everything was set up, Leo took note of how he felt very little pheromones from the two bears. They must have suppressed their pheromones the best they could while setting it all up for them. 

Though Leo could still sense them he decided to douse the whole tree in his kingly pheromones. He wanted his mate to smell and feel no other than him. 'Leo'
startled Leo turned to the opening next to the bed, and he felt Sonya calling him. Not quite heard, but felt deep down in his soul. Walking to the opening, Leo takes in Sonya's dazed face as she trails towards him. Smiling widely Leo leaped out, landing on his feet without a sound, just a few feet away from her. 

"Gasp" 

Sonya stops, taking a deep breath. Licking her lips, she trails her fingertips down his torso. Stopping at the line animal hide he had wrapped around his waist. 

"I've been waiting for you."
