The next phase was above a high tower. Wanderer held Nahida while they gazed down. This tower was taller than the clouds. In fact, they could see the white mist belonging to clouds beneath them. Only the floor in this circular tower, and contestants littered around.

Nahida made Wanderer move away from their group, and start to inspect the floor. The only thing here, while she told him about her conversation with Netero.

After gaining his interest, Netero threw Gon's green jacket over the boy and sat down, Nahida following suit.

"And? You're from another world?"

Nahida nodded while keeping her gaze on him.

"You told him everything."

Wanderer huffed as she retold what happened, while his fingers pushed the floor beneath them. Nahida nodded while holding onto his neck for support.

"Yes, he was our best source of information. And while I didn't learn of a way back, I have a lead."

Wanderer stood up and wlaked over to some other tiles, stomping down at it, but nothing happened. He sighed and walked forward.

"Great, what was that lead?"

Nahida pointed down, he followed her finger and checked the floor, the tile was pushed down, but nothing else happened.

"A power they have, Nen. If I can learn it, there's a way I can bring us back. Also, it seems this trap was already activated."

Wanderer hummed and carefully moved again.

"I'm guessing I'll have to learn it too?"

She nodded.

"That'll be for the best."

After a moment, Wanderer frowned and stood still. Nahida looked up at him, he kept his gaze down.

"Kurapika asked, about us and my injuries. And I gave him some hints. I think he figured it out."

Nahida slowly nodded.

"Alright, I'm sure you made the right decision."

Wanderer hummed before stepping on a tile that went down with his weight. It flipped open, Wanderer gripped onto Nahida as they fell, he floated right before they hit the ground and landed gracefully on his feet.

He glanced up, In the room with a single monitor, there were two other people there. Hisoka, and pin guy.

"...."

"....."

Hisoka smiled and gave them a small wave while, pin guy kept twitching in place.

Maybe they should've stayed with the group... Nahida poked his cheek, pointed at the ground after gaining his attention. So he placed her down, and glared at the clown observing them. The monitor turned on, revealing a skinny man with a mohawk sitting in a chair. He smirked at them, the blue light from the monitor shielded his eyes from view.

"Hello, you're the first ones to trigger a trap door. That's why I'll give you a specialized challenge."

A wristband appeared under the computer.

"Take one, the first champions should known each other better. Especially if they tend to lie."

Those sentences told Nahida what this whole trial was about. Truth, and invasive questions. She glanced at Hisoka, the first to place the band on his wrist with no hesitation.

Actually, how did his arm heal? Wanderer snapped it in half, but it's not even in a cast, and it's moving perfectly fine. Like a new arm...

Hisoka looked back at her, she stared at him head on with a clear gaze. Until Wanderer moved forward and grabbed two bands. He looked at the screen, seeing a red heart depicted along with sections such as; 'beats per minute', and a small window with a straight line.
