It was next morning -
Kushi woke up and looked at Arnav who was sleeping peacefully beside her. She smiled caressing his hair and kissed his forehead. She then went into the washroom to freshen up.
Kushi sat beside Arnav - Arnav.....
Arnav stirred in sleep and turned to the other side.
Kushi smiled - Arnav, come on get up. We need to go on a walk. Get up na....
After a few continuous calls Arnav sat on the bed yawning.
Kushi - Good Morning.
Arnav - Good Morning.
Kushi - Come on get up.
Arnav looked at the time. It was 5.30, he got up and brushed and washed his face.
Arnav then took her out. Kushi smiled observing the pleasant climate unlike the coldness of Delhi. Then only she remembered that Arnav told her that he would take her to Beach.
Kushi - Hey Arnav, You told me you will take me to Beach.
Arnav smiled - Kushi....
Kushi pouted - You are very bad.
Arnav bit his lips to stop his smile and kept walking. Kushi kept silent and walked with him.
They were about to take a turn.
Arnav - Kushi wait...
He took out his kerchief and tied it on her eyes.
Kushi - What are you doing ? How will I walk Arnav ?
Arnav - Wait....
He held her hands and kept walking.
Arnav - Kushi..... Why do you like beach this much ?
Kushi - When I was a kid, I watched a movie where a little girl and her mother were seen playing on the seashore. So I thought, if I go to beach I will also meet my mother. So from then, I wish to see beach. Later I understood, seeing the beach won't bring mumma back. But my wish to play in beach was always there in my mind.
Arnav wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her closer. Kushi smiled and wrapped her arms around his waist.
Suddenly Arnav pulled out the kerchief that was tied around her eyes.
Kushi hissed as he pulled her hair too.
Kushi - Why are you pulling my hair ?
She pouted but frowned seeing the smiling Arnav. He held her chin and turned her face towards the other side. Kushi gasped covering her mouth looking at the beautiful scene unfolding in front of her eyes.
The sun was rising from his sea bed spreading his golden rays all over the sea, making it look shining like a golden carpet.
She didn't realise but tears formed in her eyes. Now only she observed the sound of waves that kind of gave her soothing feelings. A mental heal that she always wanted from her childhood.
Arnav held her hands and took her near the water. She got excited seeing the sea till her eyes could vision and she had goosebumps all over her body.
Kushi - This is so beautiful.
Arnav - Come.
He held her hands and took her inside the water and stopped as they dipped till their hip level.
Kushi shrieked and hid her face in Arnav's chest hugging him tight as the waves started hitting them.
Arnav held her in his protective arms - Open your eyes and see around Kushi. You wanted to see all this right ?
