Kushi was shifted to her ward and Baby has been settled in a cradle near her. Kushi was lying on the bed unconscious of her surroundings. Everyone one by one came and saw both Kushi and Baby without disturbing them.
As it was night, only one member was allowed to stay with Kushi and it was not a surprise when Arnav instructed everyone to go home and said that he would stay with Kushi and Baby.
Even after everyone asked him, he didn't budge and literally threw everyone out of the ward. Sighing everyone went out asking him to be careful.
It was midnight -
Kushi opened her tired eyes and looked around only to see Arnav lying on the couch scrolling his phone. She smiled and kept looking at him for few minutes before calling him.
Arnav sat straight hearing his wife's feeble call. Standing up he reached her in less than a second and held her hands.
Arnav - How are you ?
Kushi - So tired. And my whole Body is feeling so numb.
Arnav bent down and kissed her forehead - Doctor said that you will feel good in a few hours as you had a normal delivery.
Kushi - Hmm....Where is our baby ?
Arnav pointed to the other side where their small bundle was lying wrapped in a baby sheet.
Kushi smiled and a thin layer of tears formed in her eyes. She tried to get up and Arnav helped her in sitting. He then walked to the cradle and lifted their son in his arms.
He then moved and sat on the bed beside Kushi.
Arnav - Meet my new friend....
Kushi giggled softly and got the baby in her hands.
Kushi - Hi, my Husband's new friend.
Her son snuggled close to her making her look at him in awe.
Kushi - Arnav, your new friend has no name ?
Arnav looked at her raising his eyebrows - Don't try your tricks on me ? ASR is way more intelligent than you think him to be......
Kushi pouted - Arnav.... I waited for these many days na..... Atleast now tell me his name.
Arnav - Don't show me your puppy face.
Kushi - Tell me the name na Arnav.... Please please please....
Arnav - I will tell you later.
Kushi - Haawww.... How rude ? I am his mother. Will you announce his name to me through your PR team ? And I should get to know that like every other person ?
Arnav laughed looking at her cute face. Leaning forward he kissed her cheek.
Arnav - Ok don't be irritated. Promise me that you will not reveal this to others till I say.....
Kushi - I promise....
Arnav smiled - So.... Here you go.... Kushi Singh Raizada, meet my new friend and our son Master Arush Singh Raizada.
Kushi smiled wide as she held her son closer - Arush means first ray of sun, the one who is calm and brilliant.... Hmmm..... Nice name. Suits our baby.
Arnav smiled - I don't know all that.... It's just a combination of our names. 'Ar' from Arnav and 'Ush' from Kushi. If it was a girl I thought to keep it as Arushi... Like it ?
Kushi smiled and leaned on his shoulders - Loved it. And You have given a correct nick name. Such a tiny bud he is..... Look how tiny and pinkish our baby is.....
