It was the next day -
Arnav woke up by his usual timing and looked at his side to see that Kushi was sleeping peacefully placing her head on his shoulders with her hands wrapped around his waist.
Arnav caressed her cheek and laid looking at her for few minutes. They go for a walk daily, but he didn't had a heart to disturb her sleep.
In a few minutes Kushi frowned in her sleep and tried to turn around. Arnav sensed her getting uncomfortable in sleep held her closer and patted her back.
Kushi murmured his name in her sleep making him smile. Frowning a bit she opened her sleepy eyes and the first thing she saw was her husband's sweet smile.
Arnav smiled and kissed her forehead - Good Morning....
She smiled in turn - Good Morning.....
She sat on the bed slowly rubbing her sleepy eyes. Collecting her hairs together she tied it as a bun and held her head as she felt it to be heavy and throbbing lightly.
Arnav - What happened Kushi ?
Kushi looked at him and said - I told you na.... As soon as I get up, my head feels heavy and today it's paining too....
Arnav kneeled behind Kushi, pulling her to lean over him, he started pressing her head making her smile.
Arnav - So that was not jet lag ?
Kushi chuckled - No....
Arnav - How many days you are experiencing this ?
Kushi - Just from few days before.... First I thought it was just a headache, only a week before I came to know that it's because of my pregnancy.
Arnav kept massaging her head slowly making the pain go away lightly.
Kushi - You go and freshen up Arnav..... We will go for a walk.
Arnav - It's ok. Let's skip it. You lay down and sleep sometime.
Kushi - A person should never skip a good habit he follows. Go and freshen up now..... If I don't stay brisk, our baby will be born as a lazy pumpkin....
Arnav - I love pumpkins....
Kushi smiled at him amused forgetting the headache.... Smacking his arms lightly she asked him to freshen up. Arnav sighed and went inside the washroom to change.
She walked slowly to the sofa and sat on it pressing her head. After sometime Arnav came out after Brushing and washing his face. Kushi went after him and changed herself into a tracks and pants.
She came out and stood in front of the mirror and combed her hair and tied it into a loose braid. She was about to turn when she saw Arnav standing behind her. She raised her brows asking him what. He smiled at her and walked closer to her and hugged her from behind.
Sneaking his palms under her shirt he caressed her tummy where their baby was sleeping peacefully.
Arnav - I still can't believe that I am a father now. All this feels like a dream.
Kushi smiled at him - Our baby's heart beats now..... You don't have any other option than believing.
Arnav chuckled and kissed her shoulder making her giggle as she felt ticklish.
Kushi - Enough now. Come.... Let's go out.
They walked out and Kushi felt relaxed breathing the fresh air. After walking for some time they sat on the shore watching people enjoying the beach. As they came late today, there were tourist people here and there.
