Arnav walked to his room to change his dress. He picked his tracks and shirt and was about to go inside the washroom when Kushi's voice stopped him.
Arnav turned and looked at Kushi who walked near him. Opening her cupboard she took out a small gift bag.
Kushi - This is for you....
Arnav frowned - For me ?
Kushi - Hmm....
Arnav got that in his hands and opened it to see two boxes. He opened the first box and saw a customised wallet with his name engraved in it.
Arnav - Iski kya zaroorat thi Kushi..... ( What's the need of this Kushi ? )
Kushi - Niche toh sabko daat daat ke gift de rahe the ( You were scolding everyone to give them your gifts). Now it's your turn. Open the other one too....
Arnav opened the other one to find it was a gold chain.
Kushi - Like it ?
Arnav didn't knew what to say. He surely didn't expect Kushi to gift him and the wallet is customised with his name, means she must have ordered it days before itself.
Kushi - Wait....
She took the chain from his hands and unhooked it and herself tied that in his neck. Needless to say Arnav's heart beat picked it's fast pace.....
Kushi hugged him - Happy Diwali Arnav.
After so many years he is getting goosebumps out of emotion. He literally felt all his hair standing straight on his skin and wave of current passing through his whole being. Thank God he was wearing a full sleeve, else she would've seen his goosebumps.
Coming out from the hug she looked at him - Acha hei.... Is it pricking ?
Arnav shook his head.
Kushi - It's looking nice. But if you don't like it tell me I will exchange it.
Arnav kept looking at her without saying anything. He is the ASR, who is a multi-millionaire. Many people gifted him so many expensive things for their own benefits, that he politely refused or denied taking that. But this simple chain from Kushi didn't seem to be under that list.
Kushi - And I don't want this money.
Arnav - Kushi, I don't know everyone's preference and needs. And without knowing anything, if I give them something there is no guarantee that those gifts will turn out to be useful. That's why I gave you Money so that you can do something that will be useful for you. You can purchase anything you want or you can keep it with you.
Kushi chuckled - Arnav, you are my Husband. I will happily accept whatever you give me. And coming to money..... You have already given me so many things that money can't give. So keep it with you. If I want, I will ask you. And even then if you want to gift me, then can you take me to some place, day after tomorrow ?
Arnav - where ?
Kushi - You first tell me, will you take me or not ?
Arnav - If you tell me where, only then I can say whether I can take you or not....
Kushi pouted - You are spoiling my plans.
Arnav looked at her amused - I will ask Mohan to take you. Go with him.
Kushi - Fine.... I want to go to Aman Bhaiya's home.
Arnav - Aman's home ?
Kushi - Hmm....
Arnav - But why ? He is here only na....
Kushi - Day after tomorrow is Bhai dooj. So I want to do something for him.
