Arnav took a deep breath and glanced at Kushi.
Arnav - See Kushi.... I accept that we are tied in this relationship. I myself said ok to marry you. Now I want you to know certain things......
Kushi looked at him waiting for him to continue.
Arnav - First of all.... I don't believe in love neither marriage. I can understand that you must be having some dreams and expectations from your husband. And I want you to know that I can't put up to your expectations if you expect me to be in a romantic relationship.
Kushi looked away as she heard him speaking.
Arnav - That day, I had no other choice infront of me than marrying you. But I promise that you will be respected the way you deserve and you can live the way you want. I will never interfere in that. You are my responsibility and I will do it to my fullest.
Kushi gave a sad chuckle, True she didn't wanted this marriage then.... But as a normal girl, she too weaved a web of dreams to live with her husband. She wished to be showered with love and care. She wanted someone who would love her to no ends..... But her fate mocked at her putting this man infront of her as her husband, who made it very clear that this marriage is just a responsibility.
Sighing she started to move inside when Arnav's call stopped her again.
Arnav - And you don't have to strain yourselves by cooking breakfast or sending lunch for me.....
Kushi was now irritated - Ho Gaya aapka ?
Arnav - Sorry....
Kushi - Listen Arnav..... Thanks for letting me know where I stand in this relationship. You compromised your sleep for me, you have not behaved like a typical husband who stops their wife from working.... So consider me sending lunch for you as my way of saying Thankyou. And don't be bothered because even if you ask I can't sent lunch to you after a week because I will be continuing my work. And I assure you, I won't expect anything from you.
Arnav was about to say something when she cut him off with her good night and went to her side and slept.
As she observed him for these few days, he is not at all having good eating habits. He seems to be exact version of how her father used to be. And she knew How's his health condition now. She really don't want anybody around her to be like that. That's why she sent lunch for him and will make sure that he eats healthy.... He has done his part as much as he could do and when her turn came, she chose this way. And she is sure that it will remain the same.
One week passed -
It was the day Kushi has decided to resume her work. In this one week there was no much changes in Arnav and Kushi's life. Silence and space was all they had between them. But Kushi made sure to send Arnav his lunch everyday and that somewhat shook the walls of Arnav's heart.
Kushi got up early and got ready for her college. Her college is just 10 minutes from here and she has already asked Shashi to send scooty for her. So she got ready relaxed and went downstairs to pray.
After finishing Prayer, She went to kitchen to see that HP was done preparing breakfast. She helped him in making coffee and picking a cup for herself she started sipping it.
She then went to her room to see that Arnav was getting ready.
After him she went near mirror and set her hair and wore her accessories. Applying a pinch of sindoor in her partition she got ready for college.
They both went downstairs and had their breakfast. Arnav started to his office.
Kushi went and bid bye to everyone and started to College. As soon as she reached her class, all her students and her colleagues came and wished her for her marriage.
