Arnav completed his work by evening and got ready for the party in office itself. He has decided to go to the party and leave in half an hour. Kushi is getting well and he wants to be with her. But this client is also very important, else he wouldn't have thought of going to it.
He got ready in his three piece suit and tied his tie. He went to his cabin and opened his laptop bag to see the brooch Kushi had gifted him kept inside safely.
He took that and pinned it on his coat and walked out of his cabin towards his car.
Igniting his engine he drove towards the party venue. Parking his car he walked towards the entrance, only to be blocked by media.
He stood in front of them and posed for a few photos and walked inside.
He then went near Mr. D'Souza who is hosting the party and shook his hands with him.
Mr D'Souza - Great to see you ASR.....
Arnav - Same here Mr D'Souza and congratulations on another milestone of your company.
Mr D'Souza smiled - Thank you so much. Wait here, I'll go and greet the other guest and will get back to you....
Arnav - Sure....
He shook hands with him and walked to his other guests to greet them. A few members who knew Arnav came near him and congratulated for the awards he recently bagged and also for his marriage. Arnav talked with everyone and saw the time, It is almost half an hour since he came....
Arnav - Let's bid bye and go home. Kushi must be waiting for me.....
He was trying to find Mr D'Souza when he felt someone calling him. He turned to the direction only to be left stunned and shocked seeing Akshara there.
Akshara - Hi Arnav..... How are you ?
Arnav looked at her silently not answering her.
Akshara - Can I join you if you are alone ? Just like a company....
' I am here to give him company ' they both heard a voice and turned to see Kushi standing there crossing her arms looking at her with a smile that Arnav knew was not her normal one.
He is surprised to see Kushi in the venue when in the first hand she said she won't be coming.
Arnav looked at her mesmerized as she was wearing the same saree she wore on New Year's eve. He didn't understand the fact why his wife looks altogether different in this colour..... She just looks damn gorgeous in this colour and with simple accessories and make up.
Kushi on the other side felt her heart beating like crazy looking at her Handsome husband. This is the first time she is seeing him in suit. His chocolate brown eyes, Sharp nose, perfectly gelled hairs, his lean figure.... Awwww.... It's not girls fault if they oogle him, it's totally his fault to be devilishly handsome like this.
She walked near him and looped her hands around his. Only then she saw that he has worn the brooch she has gifted him..... She touched the brooch caressing it softly and looked at him.
Kushi - Looking so Handsome today....
She couldn't stop herself from complimenting his looks.
Kushi - So Sorry for being late Arnav. And you Ms.... I am here to give him company. Why don't you go and find some other guy for yourself ?
Kushi said to her sternly making Akshara stun. She put up a nervous smile and walked away cursing her.
Kushi kept looking at her as she was walking away. Averting her eyes from her she looked at Arnav who in turn was looking at her without blinking. A red hue spread on her face seeing his glance.
