A few hours before -
Aman bid bye to Arnav at the parking lot and was driving towards his home when he received a call from Lavanya.
Lavanya - Hi Aman.....
Aman - Hi Lavanya.
Lavanya - Aman are you free now ?
Aman - Yeah yeah.... I am free.
Lavanya - Can you come to Daylight restaurant ?
Aman - Now ?
Lavanya - Yes....
Aman - 15 minutes Lavanya.
Lavanya - No problem.... I will order for us.
Aman - Ok.
Lavanya smiled and hung the call. She called the waiter and ordered for both of them and waited for Aman to come.
Aman came after 20 minutes and walked inside the restaurant and spotted Lavanya who was sitting in the fat corner scrolling her phone.
He walked to her and sat opposite her.
Lavanya smiled wide - Hi....
Aman smiled - Hi....
Lavanya - I have ordered for us.
Aman - Great.....
He roamed his eyes around the restaurant. It had a great ambience.
Aman - Nice restaurant.
Lavanya - Tasty food too....
Aman - Why did you call me here ?
Lavanya - Just for dinner.
Aman - Oh....
Their food came and both started eating talking in between. Finishing their food they walked out paying the bill.
Lavanya - Shall we sit here for sometime ?
Aman - come...
They both walked and sat on the bench that was kept in the garden-like setup.
Lavanya - Aman...
Aman - Hmm...
Lavanya - You never had any girlfriend in your life right ?
Aman raised his eyebrows - How do you know ?
Lavanya - If you ever had a girlfriend, you would've known that today is valentine's day and I have called you to celebrate our first official Valentine's day.
Aman bit his tongue and smiled sheepishly and looked at her - Sorry....
Lavanya smiled sarcastically - If you didn't remember, you possibly wouldn't have bought anything for me.
Aman - Lavanya, I am so sorry.... I know it's valentine's day today but....
Lavanya gasped and looked at him - You know ?
Aman - Actually Valentine's day is the peak sales period of AR in western countries after Christmas. So I know.....
Lavanya - Haaww..... You could've atleast lie that you didn't remember. How senseless of you ? I would've consoled myself that you didn't remember that's why you didn't buy anything for me....
She pouted and sat crossing her arms. Aman smiled amused by looking at her whining face.
Aman - I could've..... But I can't lie fluently in the flow.....
Lavanya pouted but let it go.....
She opened her bag and gave a gift to him.
