Chapter 6

~Bondita~

"I told you we are going too early but no you had to come just right now.." Vansh hissed in my ear as we sat down on the couch

Well apparently we were to early for tution class today and Anirudh sir has went for grocery shopping..

Anirudh Sir's mother welcomed us warmly and made us sit in the living room..

"Beta, sit here I will go and bring water for you.." Aunty said and was about to leave when Dhani came jumping

"Maa..let me do the honour, you sit here.." Dhani said and rushed towards kitchen

"My daughter is a bit hyper.." Aunty said shaking her head and smiling softly

"I know right? " Vansh mumbled sarcastically and I pinched his arm giving him a side eyes

"Here Bondita, Vansh.." Dhani said forwarding one glass to me and another to Vansh smiling sweetly

"Bondita why do I feel like something is wrong.." Vansh whispered and I rolled my eyes before drinking the water encouraged by me Vansh as well brought the glass closer to his lips and drank it

And then suddenly he spit out all the water on the floor coughing violently..

"Beta, what's wrong?" Aunty asked patting Vansh's back worriedly while his face started to turn red and eyes teary

"Vansh are you okay?" I asked worriedly patting on his head so the water would go back to his food pipe

"Dhani what did you do, now?" I heard the frustrated voice of Anirudh sir and looked at the door where Anirudh sir was removing his shoes with three bags in his hand

I then looked at Dhani who was biting her lips looking at Vansh, while Vansh's teary eyes were busy glaring at her

"I didn't do anything Bhai?" Dhani said blinking innocently

"Yeah..and I am Mad? Take him to the bathroom quickly..Vansh go and wash your face and mouth.." Anirudh sir said looking at Vansh's face

"Follow me.." Dhani said smirking and walked away sassily

Vansh looked at Anirudh sir and then followed behind Dhani

"Bondita why don't you go and sit at the terrace, I will come after keeping this bags.." Anirudh sir said looking at me kindly and I immediately nodded and walked upstairs

"Maa!! Dhani is turning into a brat, you saw it.." I heard Anirudh Sir's voice and immediately went to the terrace

I sat down on my place and took out my copy where I had solved all the numericals and I just hope they are right..I could have asked Vansh to check it once but he is arrogant enough to make fun of me so I am not going to let him check it..

I was going through the second chapter to check how much I know and I realised that I was hopeless at Physics and did not even know the starting of the second chapter..

"God why? Why out of every subject you had to make me weak in Physics? Why is this subject so hard? Einstein how can you die peacefully after taking so many students peace away? How.." I was busy crying about physics looking at the sky when I heard chuckling and immediately turned my head to look

And there he stood in black pants and white t-shirt, his hands inside the pocket, leaning against a pillar and laughing at my silly talks, looking ever so handsome while a curl of his hair fell on his forehead..

"Do you always talk to God like this Bondita.." He asked me teasingly laughing a little

Gosh!! His laugh, I have never heard him laughing he always just smiled..but today hearing him laugh I felt a warm feeling in my chest and my stomach tickled weirdly..

"It's a weird way of cursing someone you know.." he said finally calming down and walking towards me

My heart beat suddenly rose as I watched him walking towards me, he walked slowly almost like knowing my condition and then he sat down in front of me and immediately lowered my eyes not wanting to look into his eyes..

He kept his one hand one my head lightly and bend forward a little

"You are a good little girl Bondita.. and I am sure if you will try a bit harder you will ace in Physics as well..I believe in you" he said softly and I immediately looked up in his eyes

'i believe in you..' those mere words made me feel giddy inside and I looked into his eyes

His big hand resting over my head felt like an assurance and the way his soft eyes looked at me made me feel intoxicated

And once again I found myself getting lost in him, in his eyes..he was looking at me with a soft smile and for the first time I was feeling something different in him, something I couldn't recognise..

But then suddenly we heard the sound of multiple footsteps and he immediately stood up and walked towards his chair leaving me lost again..

Everyone started filling in and Riya greeted Anirudh sir smilingly and he greeted her back politely and I sighed in annoyance at his polite self

Honestly does he not realise that his politeness attracts everyone towards him, being handsome isn't enough for him he even has to be soft natured Uff....'God!! Forget about Physics first help me with this matter..'

Anirudh sir started to check homework of everyone and that's when Dhani and Vansh walked together but this time Dhani was the one who had a completely red face whereas Vansh was smirking...

How did the roles reverse?
I thought looking at both of them as Dhani rushed towards Anirudh sir and sat beside him and Vansh came towards me and sat casually

"What did you do?" I asked Vansh and he looked at me raising his brow

"What did I do?" He asked frowning

"What did you do Vansh? Dhani looks like she is about to cry.." I said looking at Dhani who was silently sitting near Anirudh sir while reading her book but her face kept turning more and more red

"Cry? Nah!! Bondita I didn't do anything to make her cry, I just couldn't tolerate the spiciness and asked Dhani to help me wash my face and then she just apologised to me nothing much..maybe her ego got hurt.." Vansh said looking at Dhani while smirking and I slapped his head to remove his creepy look

"I don't believe you Vansh..and I am telling you if I found out that you did something to Dhani then I am going to tell Maa.." I said glaring at him and he looked unbothered

"You can ask Dhani, I didn't do anything.." he said casually taking my textbook and turning pages

"That I will.."

I then hesitantly stood up to get my homework checked as well, walking slowly towards him I forwarded my copy and while taking the copy from me his middle finger lightly touched my index finger and I felt a shiver down my spine..

"Hmm..The 6th and 17th is wrong and the 15th once calculation should be divided and then multiplied Bondita and the rest are correct..Good..I am proud of you Bondita, you are doing well.." Anirudh sir said smiling at me and I felt a whole garden blossoming in me and gave him a bright smile as well

"Thankyou sir.." I said softly and happily went back to my place

And with the same giddy feeling in my chest I carefully listened to what Anirudh sir was telling and although I didn't get all of the concepts but I did get a few of them which was a lot for me..

I will do anything to hear that
'i am proud of you' from Anirudh sir..
