Bondita

The cold wind made me shudder, I held Anirudh Ji's shoulder feeling timid sitting behind him as he drove his bike leisurely..

The sun had already set and the moonless night filled with stars had me feeling like I was in some kind of fantasy world..

As the temple was in the outskirts of Kolkata, it was majorly surrounded by trees on the sides of the road and mountains all around, the road was mostly secluded with few cars and bikes speeding past us..

We were now on our way back home, and I was extremely tired to the point I could just sleep keeping my head on his back, but I didn't had the gut for that ofcourse..

No matter how much I tried to accept the fact that we were now married and he was now my husband, I still couldn't believe it, it still felt like a dream to me, a dream I would never want to break, ever..

The ringing of his phone brought me out of my dreamy-sleepy self and he parked his bike on the side of the road and removing his helmet took out his phone from his pants pocket..

"Hello, Maa?" He said and I watched a frown appearing on his face before it turned into worry

"Don't worry Maa I will find her, you don't take stress she must have went to her friends house.." he said and cut the call I looked at him through the side mirror of the bike and he was running his hands through his face

"Anirudh ji?" I called and felt his body stiffening before he relaxed

"Bondita call Vansh and ask him if Dhani is with him.." he said and I couldn't help but ask

"What's wrong?" I asked softly

"Apparently Dhani hasn't reached home yet and Maa is worried and if it's one of her pranks and tricks then she is in for a good scolding.." he replied gritting his teeth and I called Vansh and Dhani wasn't with him

Anirudh ji called a few of her friends and all of them replied that they didn't see Dhani after their lunch break, he rubbed his face frustrated and wore his helmet and started to drive speedily..

I held his shoulder tightly in fear as he drove recklessly and in no time we were standing infront of Dhani's school..

"Yes?" The old watchman sitting there asked as Anirudh ji tried to open the front door of the school

"A student is still inside the school.." he replied pushing the door even though it was locked

"Nonsense, there is no student inside the school.." The watchman said and Anirudh ji gritted his teeth in anger

"Let me see that on my own.." he said seething and the watchman held him back from breaking the door

"Look sir, come tomorrow and discuss your problem with the principal.." the old man said calmly

"Call the principal here right now, my sister is still inside your school.." he yelled furiously

"Sir I am telling you there is no student inside the school, the staff checked the school themselves before closing it.." the watchman reasoned and I watched in bewilderment as Anirudh ji held the watchman's collar and looked at him with angry eyes

"Either you call your principal and staff here and let me find my sister or I call the police and get your school and job sued.." He said it with such an intensity that even I felt a shiver running down my spine
