Two days before Prom
Zhi Pov

Ace was missing in action a lot lately. It wasn't like Zhi was jealous, he was just curious as to who this mystery girl was. He thought about just popping up to his house and catching them together but decided against it after a few conversations with Coco. She and he quotes said " He will tell you when he's ready, it's his business, so don't go sticking your nose in it."
He always has a new hickey on his neck and when Zhi questions him about it, he laughs it off.

He was surprised when he texted him about coming to see his tuxedo for prom. He pulled into his friends driveway and practically ran inside to see him. To his surprise, Jarvis was leaving out. "Sup, Zhi?"

Zhi just nodded. "Sup,"

He left the door cracked so Zhi could go inside. Ace was standing in the kitchen with no shirt on. "Bro, what up."

Zhi and him did their handshake. "Why Jarvis was here?"

"We played a couple games of madden and 2K."

Zhi stared at him confused. "Nigga, last time I checked, I'm your friend. We always play together... you ain't think to call me?"

"Bro, look, my bad aight? It ain't nothin like that. He just be more available."

"What you sayin?"

"You haven't had much time for me since you started dating Coco,"

"So, what about you and this secret chick you been linking with?" By now Jarvis had come back and obviously forgot something.

"I don't have a secret chick?" He looked into Jarvis direction.

"You been fuckin someone, and you pussy whipped."

"Sorry," Jarvis tiptoed out.

"What the fuck is he apologizing for? He allowed to just walk up in here without knocking? Like he yo woman." Zhi was getting furious.

"Zhi, just chill man."

"You hiding something." He glared at Ace. "Tell me what's going on."

"How you come in my house making demands? I don't question you about a damn thing you do or who you do. That's your business."

Zhi was now quiet. He grabbed the keys off the counter. "Man fuck this, um out."

Ace ran after him grabbing his arm.

Ace

He looked so damn sexy when he was angry. He missed him, but staying away from him was the best thing for their friendship. "Nobody ain't replacing you, aight?"

Zhi stood there for a minute. "Did I do something you didn't like or something?"

Ace stared into his friend's concerned eyes. "You never fuckin could." Ace couldn't help it but his eyes fell on his lips. He wanted to push him against the wall and devour his lips.

"I miss you man, you my nigga."

If only he meant his actual nigga. He could only dream of being that. He could only dream of him seeing him that way. "And nobody is changing that." Ace stared deeply into his eyes. "Nobody,"

Zhi nodded "I believe you." Then they hugged.

Prom

Ace

Coco and Zhi were practically having sex on the dance floor. Her skirt kept rising up and he helped her roll it back down. Dante went with his long term girlfriend, they actually looked good together. The DJ was surprisingly good. He wasn't trippin about request either.
