Zhi
Thank you for taking me to look at Christmas lights." Zhi sipped his hot chocolate.
"I know how much you love Christmas time; you and Ma Shila always made the holidays memorable." Ace leaned his head against the window. He really felt complete. Zhi was dancing to every song that played on TikTok and honestly, he just enjoyed watching him.
"I loved when our parents would choose one of our houses and we got to stay together Christmas Eve through the New Years. Our moms would have every single day planned out for us." Zhi's eyes lit up with excitement as he walked down memory lane.
"I would like to carry on that tradition, this year if possible. Our moms would love that."
"Yes, but ever since my mom remarried, things changed." Zhi eyes turned sad. "Why you think that is?" Its high key annoying to him, but he just figured their schedules became too busy.
Ace shrugged. "Maybe we should ask them."
Zhi nodded. "We will."
He could feel Ace's eyes on him. He never even tried to be discreet about it anymore. "Oh, Ace look, they have a slope over there, we can go down together." Ace didn't hesitate. They held hands and walked over to the people who were in charge.
"Hello, sweethearts are you looking for a turn?" The older woman smiled.
"Yes ma'am we are." Zhi was smiling from ear to ear.
Ace pulled him close, holding his waist. "Do we need to make a donation or something?"
"That would be greatly appreciated, we are raising money for families who can't afford to have a good Christmas." Ace reached into his wallet and pulled out a one-hundred-dollar bill.
"Oh, goodness, bless your heart. Sean, prepare the sled for these two gentlemen."
Ace rode in front because he wanted Zhi to wrap his legs around him. Zhi rested his head against his back and held on to him tightly. The man gave them a push and down they went. Ace opened his arms like he was flying. It was nice still being able to do all the normal stuff they did, it's just now they were dating. When they reached the bottom, they both dragged the sled back to the top for the couple. Ace then made a snowball.
"Oh, you want war?" Zhi scooped up some snow and tried to make a snowball as soon as possible but he felt a snowball to the chest. He returned one but Ace jumped out the way just in time.
"Come on, you know um quick on my feet." he was jogging in place, showing off his footwork.
"Be quick about this." Zhi charged him and tried to tackle him, but Ace grabbed him and slung him to the ground. "Ahh, damn it."
Ace was inches from his face. "Told you bout playin with me." He stared into his eyes. "Give them lips."
"Earn em," Zhi bit his bottom one.
Ace grabbed both sides of his jackets collar. "Zhi, don't get that ass beat."
"Promise?" He flirted.
Ace just shook his head and kissed him. "Freaky ass."
Zhi shrugged. "Don't see the issue."
Ace stood up and extended his hand to help Zhi up. "Wait til I really get a hold to you, I hope you still got this same energy."
"Can't wait to see what all the hype about, because girls at our school was really crazy about the D."
"As they should be," he did a little cocky walk.
