It's late when I finally arrive back to the house, barely making it in time to make up a late dinner for everyone granting they haven't already made something up themselves. When I walk in the door though, it takes everything in me not to sigh and throw a fit over what I'm walking into. I can see the way my brother is nearly buzzing in his seat with anger, something I know I'll need to work out with him, and I can sense the difference in Hoseok and Namjoon seeping out of them in comparison to how they've been the last couple of days.
I purse my lips at this, refraining from pinching the bridge of my nose as I slip my shoes off next to the door where everyone else's lay. I can feel everyone else's eyes on me, all seven of them hanging out in the living room surprisingly.
"How long should we expect you to be gone for? You were only gone for a little more than half a day last week, and now you've been gone nearly all day long." Jin questions once I've gotten my shoes off, tone sounding like he's holding himself back from lashing out. I roll my eyes before turning to face the seven of them, seeing curious or expectant looks across the board.
"Jin, I'm in the same industry as all of you. I am doing the best I can to be back at a reasonable hour so as to be able to make dinner for everyone by a normal time. There will be evenings where I won't be back until later than this due to interviews and performances though. There is nothing I can do about that." I answer calmly, keeping my tone from sounding too frustrated.
"And how exactly do you plan to make us all magically better if you're going to be gone all the time?" Namjoon challenges, annoyance flooding his voice. I merely quirk an eyebrow at him, knowing he should've known better than to be speaking up right now.
"By giving the seven of you the level of trust I should be able to give you until you're all able to figure out how to take care of yourselves. It's up to the seven of you how you think best to improve upon your own mental health. Jungkookie and I have already begun working on that, Yoongi's doing well on his own, and if Jimin starts letting Taehyung in again, I think the both of them will also do just fine. That being said, going out and buying yourself more booze while I'm out of the house isn't going to help you feel better, and Hoseok won't improve either until he's ready to set the full pull bottles on my desk in my studio and doesn't come near them again. If Jin can figure out how to build up some self confidence and trust again, he too could begin getting better as well.
"Now, when you're ready, my desk is available for the bottles of booze you've purchased and the pill bottles with what currently remains. In the meantime, I'm going to begin cooking dinner. Anyone and everyone interested in helping me with said task is welcome to join." I counter with a smile, turning on my heel once I've finished speaking so that I can drop my bag off in my studio before heading towards the kitchen to begin prepping dinner.
Jungkook takes a deep breath before heading in my direction as well, seeming ready to try again as he enters into the kitchen with me. The sight pleases me, nodding proudly to the younger before beginning to hand him ingredients.
"You should explore your creative side, Jungkook. You don't have to wait for me on that. If you'd like, I can pick some items up tomorrow that I think would be of interest to you?" I suggest gently, knowing fully well just how much effort he's putting forth at the moment. The more he does, the better off he'll be for it, but it's not an easy decision when your entire being is heavy and sluggish all thanks to your own mind.
"Are you sure?" He mumbles softly as he watches me continue to pull more ingredients out. The question has me pulling on another smile, very much approving of the nervous interest in his voice.
"Absolutely."
We fall silent at this as I finally finish getting everything out, though I can feel a pair of eyes watching us intently, and I have no doubts as to who it would be.
