35 ~ Alone

"Baby, why are you nervous tonight?"

I glare lightly at Yoongi's words, glancing at the rearview mirror to ensure that Jungkook and Hoseok are too engrossed in their own conversation to not have caught what Yoongi's pointing out. It's been a couple of weeks since I gave in to him, and I've not seen Taeju since the day he'd showed up at the office. The boys have finally been doing well enough that I'm not sure I'll be needed much longer, the biggest hold up at this point merely being Jin's own self confidence and the occasional battle that occurs due to withdrawals hitting Hoseok and Namjoon. Neither one has relapsed luckily, but withdrawal is still a bitch to deal with, and it's the main reason I've stuck around as long as I have by now. Jin's confidence has continued to grow, though by very small increments, but I truthfully think it's something that could continue even without me around.

"I'm not nervous." I snap quietly, glancing over at Yoongi before returning my attention to the road in front of us. He frowns at this, and I don't miss the look he gives me either.

"Babe, I think I've been around you long enough to be able to pick up on your emotions. Don't think I've missed the fact that you've not gone and gotten any tattoos since the last time the four of us went either." Yoongi points out, eyebrow quirked at me. I huff at this, running a hand through my hair before returning it to the wheel.

"Then quit being so damn observant for once, would you? Everything is fine." I mutter bitterly, terrified for this appointment. I know what's going to happen when we get there, and I can only hope that Taeju doesn't hold true to his word.

I hear Yoongi giggle quietly at my comment, though he thankfully allows us to fall silent afterwards, allowing for the rest of the drive to be silent save for the hushed conversation of the two in the back. I've come to find out in the last week or so that Jungkook and Hoseok are actually together themselves, along with my brother and Jimin, and same for Namjoon and Jin. It's definitely odd to me, having so many people around me that are in relationships and all of which appear to be rather happy. It's the first time this has ever happened, but I suspect it's a good thing for the six of them, considering how happy they've all been and the way it's helped everyone in doing better for themselves and each other.

I suck in a deep breath when I finally park the car, pursing my lips as I climb out with the other three, heart racing when Yoongi makes quick work to be by my side and lace our fingers together. The feeling sends my entire body burning, tingling sensation flooding my entire being as we enter into the small shop, Taeju's gaze not hesitating to land on our clapped hands. He gives me a questioning look but doesn't say anything, looking rather unamused as he leads us in the back.

When we enter the room, Hyun is already inside and getting things prepared, extra two chairs already placed and waiting for Hoseok and Yoongi despite the fact that I'd not said anything about having an audience with us today. It doesn't give me a good feeling, but I take my seat in the chair I'm always in, Jungkook quickly climbing into his as well, tugging his notebook out of his pocket as I do the same.

"Where are you planning on getting them this time?" Yoongi asks softly, gaze curious as he watches me flip through my notebook of designs. I hum at the thought, grateful for something else to focus on as I go through the pages to find a couple to use.

"I haven't thought too much about it yet. At the moment, I'm thinking just under my collarbone and then probably on my side." I mumble, beginning to find some probable designs to use. I know Taeju will be able to cover me before I have to have anything exposed for him to be able to work on my side, and it's the only reason that I'm willing to do it when Hoseok's here with us, knowing that Yoongi's seen all of this before.

"Those are some pretty big designs. Are you planning to do that in multiple sessions?" Yoongi murmurs as he takes in the sight of the two I've picked. I shake my head at his answer though, knowing that Taeju will be able to complete them before Hyun is done with Jungkook despite the size and intricacies.
