"Boss, you did what now?" Taeju breathes out as he looks up at me from where he's working on a new side tatttoo on me, making sure to be mindful of how he's addressing me after the way the morning had gone. I merely shrug in response though, knowing I can't really blame him for his reaction.

"You know I refuse to allow anyone to speak lightly of my past, just the same as I won't stand to allow someone to tell me that I deserve the past I have." I reason out, not bothering to look in the elder's direction. He doesn't seem to accept it though, catching the way he shakes his head in my peripheral.

"You're letting him get close." He murmurs, causing me to frown as I turn my head to face his direction once more.

"I can't exactly tell him he's got it all wrong when I'm a public enough figure for it to all be laid out online. How am I supposed to hide that from him?" I argue, not liking the way he says it. It's his turn to frown though, pausing his work to look up at me.

"You suggested for him to do that, Jae." He sighs, seeming like there's more he wants to say but deciding against it yet. I scoff at this as I roll my eyes, looking away once more as he returns to the tattoo he's been working on.

"How was I supposed to know he'd actually do that though? You know as well as I do that you're one of few people who have ever given a damn to actually try if they're forced to. I thought he'd drop it just like anyone and everyone else." I mutter in annoyance, not liking the way this conversation is going.

The room falls silent at this, and I know he knows I'm right. There's been plenty of people who've approached me because they thought I'd be easy, and the moment I make them work for it is the moment they disappear.

"You're beginning to fall for him, aren't you?"

His voice is barely a whisper, but it echoes in my ears, causing me to frown once more as I turn my head to look over at him once more. He glances up at me at this, a questioning look on his face before he's returning his attention to the tattoo he's nearly finished with. It leaves me completely and utterly confused though, having zero idea as to what on earth he could be talking about.

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" I question, though there's no venom in my voice, truly baffled at this. I don't have a clue as to what he's suggesting, but I don't like the sound of it at all. Not one bit. Falling for someone sounds like a horrible thing to do, and I don't even have a clue what in the hell it means. The words alone don't suggest anything good though, and it's enough to nearly have me reeling, enough to have me trying to think over everything that's happened between Yoongi and I since I'd moved into the house with him and the others.

Taeju doesn't answer though, and I try to remain calm enough for him to finish his job well, giving him the benefit of the doubt that that's why he isn't responding, allowing him the silence he seems to want as he finishes the last tattoo I'd requested from him for the night. Sure enough, once he's finished with it, he's letting out a sigh. He still needs to clean it up and dress it, but that doesn't require nearly as much attention.

"I don't think it would be a bad thing for you. He seems to have a genuine interest in you, and based off what you've said of the conversation the two of you had earlier, I don't think it's a shallow one either. I think you should let him in. I think it could be good for you." Taeju finally says, a thoughtful expression on his face before he's looking up at me. I glare lightly at him though, not at all having any clue as to what the hell he's trying to say.

"Taeju, what in the fuck are you talking about?" I question once more, hating how wheezy my breathing is becoming. I don't like the panic that's overcoming my body by this conversation, don't like the way he's making things sound. Don't like the fact that he seems to know and understand things that I don't.
