"Are we really going to get tattoos?" Jungkook mumbles after we've pulled out of the drive, I glance over in his direction, but I can see just how excited and nervous he is. I pull a smile on at this, nodding lightly.
"I told them that you wouldn't be getting more than two for the time being. If you want to get more after this, you're welcome to, but I want us to start out slow. There will be a lot of learning for you in this process as well, which is why it's better to start slow. I don't care what size or what design or where you want it, but two is your limit for today." I explain casually, watching as a nervous grin spreads across his face, not missing him nodding at this.
"Are you going to get some as well?" Jungkook asks, head turning to look over at me curiously. I hum in thought, despite knowing what I'd told Taeju the day before.
"Would you feel more comfortable if I got some as well?" I counter, raising an eyebrow at this. He purses his lips before looking away, staying silent for a moment. I purse my lips at his hesitation, reminding myself that I need to be patient with Jungkook. He's not the right company to be impatient with and this is a completely new endeavor for him.
"Yeah." It's barely a whisper, and he doesn't move to look in my direction, but thanks to having music playing ever so quietly in the car at the moment, I manage to catch it. I simply nod, debating on where I'll get my next set of tattoos and what designs I'll be using this time.
"Then yes, I'll get a couple today as well. You don't have to be nervous though, Jungkook. I'm taking you to the place I always get mine done at. You'll be in very good hands. I promise." I respond gently, allowing the car to fall silent after that.
It's not too much longer after that before we arrive, and I take a deep breath before the both of us are climbing out of the car. Jungkook hesitates once we're standing in the open air, and I wander my way over to where he's stood before reaching out and rubbing his back gently. He turns to look at me, and I can see the nerves bouncing around in his eyes.
"You'll be in good hands. I promise." I remind him. He takes a deep breath at that, nodding before allowing me to lead us inside. The place is buzzing today, but I'm not in the slightest bit surprised. I'm usually here during the night when it's dead and should be closed, never during the day when they're busy and when I can so easily be seen. Taeju is stood behind the counter though, seemingly waiting for us with who I know to be Hyun. Taeju merely nods to me upon seeing us, bowing before standing upright and motioning for us to come back. Hyun follows right behind him, leaving his brother, Sihyun, at the desk for any walk ins.
"Are you here that often that they know you without even having to check in?" Jungkook asks softly, nerves still flooding him as he follows me to the back with the others. I smirk at this since he can't see my face at this point, shrugging lightly.
"I've been coming for a long time now." I respond, not missing the way Taeju's head turns ever so slightly at this. He doesn't say anything and nor does Hyun thankfully, just staying silent as they lead us to the very back where the last room currently available is, one that has two stations so that we can be worked on together.
"We'll begin getting things ready. Please pick out your designs in the meantime and where you'll want them." Taeju informs the two of us before heading off further into the room with Hyun. I simply nod at this, leading Jungkook over to the few binders that they have for clients to flip through.
"Do you think it'll be okay if I get them on my arm?" Jungkook mumbles softly, glancing over to me for a moment before continuing to flip through the binders. I offer him a smile as I nod, knowing it won't be a problem wherever he wants them.
"You're welcome to get them wherever you want to get them, Jungkookie. It won't be a problem wherever you choose." I comfort him, watching as his nerves ease slightly at this. He simply nods, and I move to sit on my normal chair before pulling out my own notebook from my jacket pocket, knowing I too need to figure out what I'll be getting and where. I know no matter where I choose, Jungkook will be able to see some of the new tattoos I've gotten recently, will be able to see how much of my body is drowning in the ink, may possibly be able to see the damage underneath. I don't allow the thought to bother me though, knowing it'll never change anything anyways.
