Chapter 22

Mabel's POV

Haruhi let me borrow one of her leather mini skirts with a black asymmetrical crop top. I paired it with my own purse and jewelry.

Haruhi wore a black mini skirt with a slit and a black crop top that tied in the front. Audrey wore a black mini skirt as well and a black tube top with a leather cropped jacket

"We look good." Audrey commented

"We do." I agreed

"Let's get out of here before Aleksandr sees. He's so overprotective of you."

"That he is." I smiled

I honestly don't mind his possessiveness. He doesn't cross any boundaries so I find it cute.

"Before we go let's take some shots."

"Tequila?" Haruhi asked while holding up a bottle

"I've never taken shots before so I don't know what's good." I admitted

"Tequila it is. This is gonna be awful but you'll enjoy it later."

She explained to me the order of the salt and lime. The shot felt like battery acid but after the third one it wasn't too bad. Haruhi and Audrey had me drink lots of water before we left.

At the club

We have our own little table at the bar we're drinking at. The three of us are drinking mixed drinks and talking.

"How's the engaged life treating you?"

"Good, Aleksandr is a really great partner. I'm trying my best to treat him well in return."

"That's good. I was worried when I learned of the engagement. Aleksandr can be a massive dick and I heard from other models that you're a really genuine person."

"How's the sex?" Audrey asked and Haruhi cringed

"We haven't slept together yet."

"Really? Not that I wanna know about my brother's sex life but the kids made it seem like you two were fucking like bunnies."

"Yeah, I'm inexperienced as Aleksandr would put it."

"Right, you're a princess. It makes sense that you'd be a virgin."

"Yeah, the kids think otherwise because they've walked in on us in compromising positions."

"They love jumping to conclusions." Haruhi chuckled

"Do you want to wait until marriage?"

"No, if it were up to me I would have slept with Aleksandr ages ago but he's too scared to hurt me. Or he says we should wait for a special day. It's annoying. He acts like I don't know what I want."

The tequila was really making me sing

"You should buy some lingerie and wait for him to come home. You could light candles too to set the mood."

"Or you can just talk to him. If you explain to him that you're a big girl who knows what she wants he'll come around to it. He's just being a know it all."

"Haru that's less fun than my idea." Audrey told her

"But when he rejects her she'll feel humiliated. If you wanna do Audrey's suggestion wear a robe over your lingerie. Have the candles already lit so he asks what's up. Then spill the beans. If he reciprocates it'll be a fun surprise when he takes off your robe."

"Helping your brother get laid. How charitable."

"Shut up." She told Audrey

"I think I'm gonna take your advice. It's worth a shot."
