Natasha's POV
I'm laying on the floor of the living room with Anya
"Girls why are you laying on the floor? It's dirty." Viktor asked
"Our backs hurt."
"Because you girls are overworking yourselves." He began to scold us
"It can't be helped." We both whined
"Pertrovas shouldn't whine." Vlad told us
"Anya, I can give you a nice deep tissue massage." Vladelin offered
"I'll go to a professional or ask my boyfriend."
That put a sour taste in Vladelin's mouth because he stormed off at the mere mention of the word boyfriend.
Vladelin has been in love with Anya for as long as I could remember but unlike his twin he refuses to be honest about his feelings for her. Anya got tired of waiting and started seeing someone last year. Despite his moping around he still refuses to admit he liked her.
I hear the front door open and shut. I turn my head to see who just entered and smile when I see my fiancé
"Why are you on the floor?" He sends me a puzzled look
"My back hurts."
"Well get up, you'll catch a cold down there."
"I'm comfortable." I shook my head
"I thought you wanted to go on a date tonight. Shouldn't you be getting ready?"
"About that."
"Are seriously canceling again?" He glared
"The first show of the season is tomorrow. We can go out afterwards."
"You'll be exhausted."
"I won't." I promised
"Fine." He huffed and went upstairs
"He really is a puppy." Vlad laughed
The Next Night
"Hey Natasha, a bunch of us are going out for drinks to celebrate a successful opening night. Wanna join?" One of the principal dancers invite me
"I appreciate the invite but I have plans with my fiancé tonight. I've made him reschedule too many times already but I'd love to join everyone out another night."
"Right, you're seeing Prince Volkov."
I chuckled at the nickname. Vladimir hates it but since Vlad is King, it only makes sense that the twins are Princes.
"Yeah." I nod
"Rumor has it his brother is well endowed. Since they're identical twins can you confirm if it's true or not."
"Even if I knew I wouldn't share such personal information. I won't know the answer to that question until my wedding night. Please don't disrespect me by asking again."
"How righteous of you. You realize men like the Volkovs aren't going to sit around and wait for an average girl. They could have anyone they want. I'd start making it worth his wild if I were you."
"I'm not going to compromise my morals for a husband. I've made it clear to Mir that he can leave at anytime. If he decided to he knows I wouldn't chase after him."
"That's how you lose a good man."
"A good man is patient." I shrugged and left
I had already removed my makeup and changed into my date night outfit. When I open the door to the dressing room my anger was washed away by the sight of Mir who's waiting with a bouquet of red roses.
