"Mu-deok." Uk said as he lifted her up. "Mu-deok, wake up." Mu-deok slightly opened her eyes. Uk brought her in closer.

"I will take her." Yul said trying to grab her.

"No." Uk pushed Yul's hand away.

"You cannot even walk properly." Yul said.

"I can do it. She's my maid, so I will take her." Uk said. Had Uk fallen in love with Mu-deok Da-hye wondered.

"But you are now well either."  Maidservant Kim protested. "You cannot take her there."

"Do you think so? Then.." Uk turned to look at Maidservant Kim. "You carry her on your back."

"Pardon?" Maiservant Kim asked.

"Carry her on your back." Uk said.

"You want me to carry her?" Maidservant Kim asked.

"Yes." Uk nodded.

"Why should I carry her?" Maidservant Kim asked.

Uk and Dang-gu lifted Mu-deok up so that Maidservant Kim could carry her. "Come here." Uk said.

"Young Master."  Maidservant Kim protested. "No but wait. My goodness."

"Hey, Yul." Uk said. "Help me instead of Mu-deok." Uk placed himself behind Yul. "I do not have the strength to walk. Take me to Sejukwon."

Even after all of this, Yul was still acting like a princess.

"Do you want me to carry him?" Dang-gu offered.

"No." Yul responded.

"All right." Dang-gu said as he and Da-hye followed behind them.

"Maidservant Kim, be careful!" Uk shouted. "Be careful with her!"

"All right." Maidservant Kim said as she continued walking.

"Goodness."

Shortly after taking Mu-deok and Uk to Sejukwon, Yul, Dang-gu, and Da-hye had left. Dang-gu revealed that he knew where his uncle kept his wine hidden.

"This is the wine that our uncle hides in his room." Dang-gu said.

Yul and Da-hye watched him drink it but didn't actually drink any. Da-hye didn't want to be blamed if her uncle found out.

"It tastes quite nice." Dang-gu said. "Anyways, Uk's life long dream has finally come true. So let us celebrate." Dang-gu poured himself more wine.

"He should be celebrating. Not us. What do we have to celebrate?" Da-hye asked.

Dang-gu's smiled faded. "You always ruin the mood."

"That girl, Mu-deok..." Yul changed the topic. "He recently brought her from a brothel, right?" Dang-gu nodded.

"She risked her life for him even though they only just met." Yul said. "It is strange." Da-hye could tell that Yul was starting to suspect something as well.

"Uk saved her from having to become a gisaeng." Dang-gu said.

"She even pretended to be blind, to get out of it." Da-hye said.

"Have a drink." Dang-gu said to Yul and Da-hye.

"Blind?" Yul asked.

"According to Ju-wol she was blind when she came but could see just fine when she left." Dang-gu explained. "This wine tastes great."

"She easily deceives people." Yul said.  "She lied about being blind and even said she poisoned Uk. She did not speak even though she was tortured."

That's what Da-hye couldn't figure out. Had she really lied about poisoning Uk, and if she did, why was she helping him? Da-hye thought that she did not want to accept him as her pupil. But maybe she was wrong.
