Eastern Roman Empire,Hagia Sophia, January 10th 1449
A Man in A Purple uniform fit for a Emperor Was on his Knees praying in front of his dead brother, he was praying hard and after doing the Cross, Kissed his Crucifix. He loved his brother dearly and now he was gone, the burden of the world felt heavier.
He stood on the shoulders of Giants who shaped history, thousands of Men, heroes of civilization, they had done so Much and what he had was too little too late, he was all alone and no one would save him now.
He then spoke to himself.
''Brother...What am I to do? Our Empire Is Too Fragile to Survive, Long dead are the Times of The optimus princeps, the Sultan wants me Dead, Why...What can I do? I'm nothing like the Great Men of the past.
Please God, Give me strength to Live to their Good Names, Please Give me the Strength to Serve my Empire'' the Man said with sorrow. "Please Grant us Salvation from the Ottoman Empire, Give us a hero, any hero, Please...Pleas-"
Suddenly, a woman's voice cut his somber speech, The man was meant to be alone.
''I can help you'' the voice said, in an almost seductive voice.
The man turned and looked at the woman that interrupted him. She was tall, had black hair, Had Asian features and wore a Clothing he had never seen before, Red with what looked like the Sun In the Center holding it all together. It looked Asian.
He didn't know who she was but she could be an Assassin of the Ottoman Empire. He quickly grabbed his sword.
''Who are you!'' He demanded as he took out his sword ''This is by brother, no, the former emperor's funeral!''
''My name is of no Importance at this moment, However, I have something that can be of great help to You'' the woman said, as she put the sword of the man down
As if it was made of paper, the sword was placed down by her, the man looked at this and sighed. At least she wasn't here to kill him it seemed. And if she was, he could do nothing, he was afraid of the power this woman had, to disarm him so quickly.
''How? What can you do to help me?'' the man said as he put his sword away. ''Get the Ming to send an Army along the Silk Road? I doubt they even know about my country, It's Pathetic isn't it? A Empire which Owned most of the known world, reduced to a Mere City and Morea''
She laughed before she spoke again.
''No, No, I can make you Greater than anyone else before you and you can retake all that was lost to you...All that is destined to you, And send you a Hero, from your Ancestors lands, he and you may conquer all your foes with ease.
I won't ask for anything from you in return, just a promise'' the Woman said as she extended his hand ''that In the Far, Far Future, Your Empire must do a Job for Me''
''A Job?'' the man said ''what kind of Job?''
''A Job of spreading Civilization to a world where none exist'' she replied and she extended her hand to his ''Interested?''
The other man stayed silent for a while, but he knew he had no other option and it's not like what she was saying was the truth, better to just let her lies be done and focus on the gigantic task at hand.
So he took her hand and shook it. As he did, he felt something change in him, he felt smarter, braver and felt his charm increase, he felt...Like a god...What was this?.
