Byzantine Empire, Varna Imperial Hotel, April 8th 2023

Lieutenant General Constantine Stilicho ate his food at the Hotel as he looked at the news, there he saw the photo of Constantine Palaiologos-Romanov, albeit different, with the news reporter talking about his 'death'.

This was all the news was about for the past 3 days.

"Since the passing of his Imperial Prince, Constantine Palaiologos-Romanov, A Investigation has been launched, with all signs pointing to a conspiracy between Altarus's Elite and the Emperor of Papaldia.

The Great and Pious Empress Julia denounced them for what we all know them to be: Barbarians, they shall meet the blade of Justice once we find the blade to kill them with" The reporter said

Another reporter chimed in as well.

"That is right, the Papaldian Empire and their aggressive actions against the Empire has gone on for too long, they want to exterminate every one of us and if we let them, the Empress and the empire shall be the ash of history.

We didn't create this empire with words, we forged it with blood and Iron and blood and iron is how it shall die, they may be strong, but the spirit of the descendants of Romulus is forever stronger!" The Reporter yelled

Lieutenant General Constantine Stilicho watched it again and again. They had accused Papaldia of killing Constantine Palaiologos-Romanov and were now using that to put as much pressure on them as possible to make them look like the bad guy.

Tensions were getting so bad that War was all but certain at this point. Mass Mobilization in Altarus was already happening.

If War was truly about to start, then Lieutenant General Constantine Stilicho would be once more called for active service as the 9th Army was one of the armies planned for the Invasion of Altarus.

In reality it was the Army to Invade it, with the 8th being a support Army for a later planned Invasion of Papaldia itself. Reality was that plans were always changing.

Just then, Constantine Palaiologos-Romanov sat down at the table. He had shaved his beard, his hair and had a proper military uniform given by Lieutenant General Constantine Stilicho.

What had happened at the river was something that was history changing. After firing the gun in the air, Lieutenant General Constantine Stilicho and Constantine Palaiologos-Romanov left.

Constantine Palaiologos-Romanov had been kept alive, not for any political motives, but out of the kindness of Lieutenant General Constantine Stilicho's Heart.

Both men were in a sea of trouble and they needed all the help they could get.

"Thanks for letting me live, I don't have anything of value, but tell me what you want and i'll do it" Constantine Palaiologos-Romanov said as he tried his hardest to remain calm.

Lieutenant General Constantine Stilicho nodded before he spoke.

"Don't fret, there is nothing needed to repay me. You and I have many enemies which want us dead. All I can say is i'll help you escape to this country, The Holy Mirishrial Empire, a good democracy, English speaking lands, I assume you speak English?" asked Lieutenant General Constantine Stilicho

"English, French, Latin, Russian, German and Japanese, I wanted to be a linguist Emperor, can you believe it, ah, the days of naivety" Constantine Palaiologos-Romanov responded

Lieutenant General Constantine Stilicho nodded.

"Perfect, I'll Create your new identity as someone from Rodenuis, so you can live a good life, We just need to escape customs" He explained
