***(Y/N) Point of View***

I woke up that night like any normal time. I stretched out with my blanket still lounged over my body. Something felt off though. I looked around and noticed Moon Glare was gone. It wasn't odd for her to leave but to not tell me where she was going is quite peculiar. She probably went out for a hunt, I rationalized, we haven't gotten new food for a few days. I stayed in the cave that night and waited. I was messing around with my Moon Dragon: Dew technique. Water droplets followed my hands as I waved them around on the cave floor. The water started to shine brighter. I looked up at the sky and noticed the sun was rising.

My eyes widen, a whole night? That... No she would never stay out a whole night! I jumped up to my feet. I ran to the mouth of the cave and took a peek outside. No sign of Glare... I started to freak out a little at this point. I shook my head, Where can she be? Did she leave me here forever? No, (Y/N) mom would never do that! I scolded myself.

I stayed in that cave awaiting for Glare to come home and say sorry I was gone for so long. But after 7 suns and running out of food I knew she wasn't coming back. I grabbed my blanket and folded it nicely. I placed it with the rest of my belongings in the basket. Mom told me instead of an egg like normal dragons I came from a basket. That was when I was smaller, I now know that I am a human not a dragon. Mom isn't my birth mom. I looked into the small basket holding only a blanket and another outfit in it.

I had never stayed up after high sun before, but that day I stepped out of the cave at day break. It was odd feeling the warmth of the sun's soothing rays. The cave's dark shadow covered my eyes as I forced myself out of my home. My heart was racing and my breaths were rushed. I was scared, mom told me about the awful world. Cruel and heartless. 'If you let the world take advantage of you, you're surely dead'  her words echoed in my head.

I took another step outside of the cave. Now that my whole body is in the sun. I had to cover my eyes with my forearm from the bright sun. I let my eyes adjust before I hurried out into the world. Not knowing exactly where I was going. I ran and ran until I found an apple tree. Apples sprawled on the ground underneath it. My stomach lunged out. I licked my lips and hurried to it. I climbed up the tree with my basket in my mouth securely. I swung my legs onto the lowest bough and crawled across to the sweet fruit. I picked one and took a bite. I smiled, this is delicious! I plucked a few more and threw them into the basket.

I stayed on my own for years and years after Glare left me. I was educated of the world... not the human world but the dragon world. I avoided towns and villages as much as I could. That is until I was about 15. It was storming out and I was stuck outside on a road. I couldn't see a tree or any sort of cover for miles, all there was, was a small city a few meters away. I felt the rain and looked up praying that it'll be okay. I sighed and started to run towards the lighten buildings. A young couple but older than me greeted me as I walked into the city. I waved back smiling ((You have manors.)) trying not to be rude. "Dear," the women said with a sweet voice, "Where are your parents?" I stopped and looked at her then down at the ground, "I... I don't know. I never got the chance to meet them." She gasped, "Oh my..."

The man piped in, "Are you alone?" I nodded in reply.

"Oh we can't have that." the lady shook her head, "Come, come. Let's get you out of the rain and these wet clothes. I'm sure I have something that fits you."

I hesitantly followed them, why are they being so nice to me? Are they going to trap me in their house? No... too many people would know. Their house doesn't have any good cover. The windows are wide open.

Inside the lady went to the kitchen and got a warm cup of... tea I believe is what she called it. She led me to her closet in her room, "Go on ahead, pick anything you want to wear. The bathroom is the next room, change there." I nodded and dug threw her clothes. I looked for something that I thought she wouldn't miss. In my luck I found a older looking white shirt with a long black skirt. I walked into the bathroom and changed quickly. I had rung out the water from my clothes and placed them on the side my basket to dry.

The couple let me stay with them for a few weeks before I left. I felt like I was burdening them so I wrote a note and left the woman's clothes under it. I also left some money. All that I had really. Ever since then I go town to town. Meeting new people. I'm still looking for Glare, and this is the best way to find information about possibilities of where she is. I know you're out there Glare... and I promise I'll find you. Even if that's the last thing I'll do.
