As we were making our way to the guild hall from the train station, I was kind of in a mind blank spacing out. I was thinking deeply of what just happened.
"You okay back there?" Sting drew me back to reality.
"Uh?" I shook my head embarrassed, "Yeah fine... I'm just glad we're finally off that damn train... " I sheepishly smiled scratching the back of my head.
"Good," Sting smiled, "We're here."
I looked up to see a giant building with large front doors and 2 levels. There were these giant beautiful glass windows. Flags scattered around with the Sabertooth symbol on it. The building seemed newly painted. There were small flower beds around the building that seemed like they were just planted. Everything felt up-to-beat and comfortable. I looked back to Sting. He had his hand on one of the giant doors smirking at me, "Ready?"
I nodded giving a smile. He pushed the door open. A blinding light came threw the crack of the door. When my eyes adjusted I saw a large room filled with people. They were laughing, smiling and having a good time. The room had nice dark wood floors with tables, chairs and couches placed in varies places. In all the area felt welcoming and warm... like I've been living here for a long time or something along those lines.
The crowd looked towards the opened door and slowly stopped talking. Sting was behind me and put his hands on my shoulders gently squeezing them, "We have a new recruit!" His voice carried through the room, "Please welcome her!"
I gave a single wave, tilting my head to the side giving a small smile. Everyone started to clap and cheer for what seemed like no reason. Sting's hands dropped from my shoulders and he started to walk away. He headed for the center of the room where a round bar stood. In the center there was a large aquarium with brightly colored fish in it. I followed him to the bar and took a stool. He went behind the counter and grabbed a... contraption of sorts.
"What is that?" I asked.
"It's a stamp," Sting explained, "It is an instrument that gives you the Sabertooth mark. So where do you want it? And in what color?"
"Ummmm...." I thought for a moment, I want it somewhere convenient where it can be hidden for some missions but easily seen outside. The back of my shoulder? No... I wear my jacket all the time. My leg? No... I wear those boots and socks and I don't want it too high. Oh... I know!
I reached down and unclipped the bottom strap of my shirt pointing to my lower right side of my stomach, "Here, in light blue."
Sting blinked a bit, "Did you plan that out?"
"At last minute." I said.
He shrugged, "Okay." He climbed over the black granite counters and held the stamp to my side. When he pulled back there it was... the light blue Sabertooth symbol. I smiled to myself proud, "Yay."
Sting chuckled and reached over the top putting the stamp away in what I guessimated a shelf under the counter. When he returned he took a seat next to me. We turned the stools so that we faced one another.
"So tell me about yourself," Sting said.
I shrugged, "There's not much to tell."
"That is such a lie," Sting said shaking his head.
