(Your POV):
I was angry for no reason. Something in me didn't feel right. Roaring rage just filled my body. I wanted to kill. I held myself back and my body trembled. I didn't say a word but walked out of the guild hall.
The voice in my head wasn't mine anymore. It was a dark, male voice. He chuckled, "it's nice to see how you're responding to me, dragon slayer. Now go far away from this bum of a town."
My conscience fought back, "Leave me alone! I want to stay here!"
"Just walk," he barked.
I clenched my hands into fists and my legs walked forward down the road leading to the woods. I walked into the woods.
Snow was on the ground burning my bare feet. I was in my lounging clothes; Sweat pants and a sweat shirt. The bottom of my grey sweat pants were now dripping wet from the snow. My body shivered and my teeth chattered.
My face felt like it was on fire and my ears were no exception. My nose was runny with liquid as dense as water. But for some reason the pain and the annoyance of my body's reaction to the cold didn't affect me. I just walked. And walked.
For hours I just walked in the woods.
I left in the early hours of that day... But now the sunshine is dimming away. The sky was painted in beautiful colors. The blue sky faded into a creamy orange then a pink. And from the east the sky was almost black. I could almost see the moon. I stopped walking and fell back into the snow looking up.
"What are you doing?" The voice said in a confused tone.
"Waiting for the sun to go down so I can see the moon," I said aloud. I wasn't as angry as I was before. I was too tired to be angry. I was too cold to be frustrated.
"Glare raised you well..." The voice said in a low, sad way.
Tears brimmed the corner of my eyes, "I agree. She left me though... Too soon. I was too young to understand the world."
"I'm sorry I wasn't there," it confessed, "I couldn't find her... Or you."
My burning cold body was screaming at me as the snow melted into my clothes making puddles of water. My body shivered.
"Just walk another 100 feet to the north and you'll find a hot spring. Take a warm bath and let your clothes dry," the voice wasn't angry anymore. It was almost soothing.
"Okay," I staid there for another second as the horizon faded into the night. The moon illuminated it's pure white gaze into the earth. I smiled and reached up for it and 'grasped' it in my hands holding it to my chest.
I slowly got up and stumbled to the north. I crossed my hands over my chest trying to get warm. I saw steam in the distance and began to ran towards it. It was a small pond borderline puddle. It was cute with some rocks surrounding it. A little tree covered in the flaky, white snow hung over it.
My tired, sore body ached for the warm water.
"I don't know if you can see, but I'd appreciate it if you'd turn away," I said as I took of my wet sweatshirt and threw it over a branch of the tree.
"I can only see what you see," it stated.
"Then how'd you know that the spring was here?" I questioned.
"Because I've been here many times before."
I thought about it for a second. "Guess that makes sense," i shrugged and continued to slowly get undressed, "Oh, by the way, I didn't quite catch your name."
"Well, (Y/N) I'm the only other Moon Dragon," it said.
My eyes widen, "Eclipse?"
"Is that what Glare named me?" He laughed, "I like it."
I slowly slid my body into the clear water. The warmth burnt it's way through my nerves. My toes and fingers felt like pins and needles were puncturing the tips and ends. I bit my lip and winced, my body hurt so bad.
"There's a cave not to far away," Eclipse said, "we'll make shelter there. Start a fire. But tomorrow... We're saving Glare."
"Umm? Saving Glare? From what?" I asked, "she's still alive? B-but she left!"
"She's alive but is held captive. The time is ticking and you're her last chance," he sighed, "she left too early. All dragons were supposed to hide on the 7th day of July in X777. She left September, 24th of X775. It was bad, bad timing. I'll explain more later but relax for now."
I closed my eyes and slowly warmed up. Thoughts swirled in my head. Glare, food, the cold air, even my guild was on my mind. Manly Sting. I wonder what he's doing right now? Is he worrying about me? Did he even notice? Luna, is she alright? Will she think I abandoned her? I hope not... I miss them. I miss them all.
___Chapter End!
/Well, I know it's a bit of a stretch but, it'll all make sense at the end. And I know it's not going to exactly line up with the Anime/Manga but it'll still get the concept\
