Chapter 21: What I Think

(Natsu Pov):

As me and the gang walked through the woods, back home. I rested my hands behind my neck and looked up at the sky. (H/C) hair with (Skin color) and beautiful (E/C)ed eyes flashed in my mind. A sweet smile and a small laugh followed the image of the girl.

Sure I like Lucy but she's made it quite obvious... many times... that we should only stay friends. She doesn't want to ruin things. I don't know what it is about (Y/N)... but I want it. It's quite obvious she's a dragon slayer. I can smell it seeping off of her. Maybe it is because she's a dragon slayer. But then what about Wendy? Oh wait... Wendy is still a kid, she hasn't even hit puberty yet.

I felt impact at the back of my head as I fell forward gripping my pounding brain. "Are you even listening to me?" Lucy yelled at me.

"What the hell, Lucy!" I yelled back, "Why the hell would you do that?"

"I was telling you something and you weren't listening to me!" She bickered, "I don't like that girl, (Y/N)."

Gray joined in, "Why? 'Cause you were trying to slip away with Sting?"

Her face went red. She was pointing at me before and now her finger curled up as shade melted around her. She let out a long breath and sat straight crossing her arms, "What ever... It was the alcohol."

Erza shook her head, "You mean you got buzzed up on whine? A classy beverage?"

Lucy flinched when she knew she got caught. My eye twitched remembering her being all on top of Sting. My stomach dropped and my heart rose to my throat. I played it off though and crossed my arms looking at Lu.

Happy sat on shoulder with his tail hanging off the other side. He pointed at  Lucy, "You only had one glass!"

She fell backwards with the words 'liar' printed on her forehead. She was practically knocked out with us pointing her out. I shook my head and walked to her. Happy flew up, hovering over me. I reached down and grabbed one of her arms. I threw her over my shoulder and began to walk with the others.

Gray smirked at me, "She was kind of hot though." He nudged me slightly making Lucy sway. He winked at me and started to walk with Erza. I sighed, going back to my thoughts. Then I heard Lucy groan leaking with sleepiness in it.

I smiled and realized no matter what... Lucy already has my heart burning for her passion.

(Rogue's Pov):

I sat back all day mainly observing. The way she speaks, walks. Just her in general. I'm attracted to the young girl but I can't say I love her. All I want is her. I'm on the verge of needing her. She was so kind and so sweet, but I can sense that she had a dark side. The side I can relate to. I saw it at Cloud Peak. The way she killed the spider without a second thought, she was silent but knew the grim truth. She carried on though and helped the kids.

She would be a great mother. I could make her a mother... I shook my head quickly. No, I will not do that. I'm not going to soil her like that, not yet at least. Have our fun then get to business ya'know. I make myself laugh sometimes.

The group was on our way home. Sting and (Y/N) were walking in front of me. Flirting and sweet talking. It was strange seeing Sting actually caring for a girl. He normally does the smash and dash. Gets what he wants and leaves. That's mainly the reason that Yukino and him broke up. Sure they were friends but he only wanted the physical things. He only paid attention to Yukino when she didn't have anything on.

It was quite sad... she was crushed. They made terms though. He's a man whore, I swear. The average fuckboy. But... He's acting different with her. He smiled, cracked jokes, and laughed with this girl.

It was amazing to see my friend happy with a girl... even if they aren't dating, I can tell they will. I could feel my heart sink as I said this. I looked over at them and saw that he had his hand on her waist and she was laughing. I'm surprised his hand wasn't farther south gripping her ass. 

I shook my head, she's his... and he is hers.

I'm sure there's a girl out there for me. (cough cough Kagura Mikazuchi cough cough)
