:Media- Yukino, Rogue and Sting:
(Sting's POV):
I woke up feeling... Empty. The spot next to me was just as empty as I felt. The bed was cold. I slowly sat up and looked around. (Y/N) never leaves without telling me... I thought.
I pushed the palm of my hand to my forehead thinking. Groaning I slugged out of bed and threw on some pants and a shirt. Not really giving a shit of what I looked like I leafy the room. (Y/N)'s smile didn't greet me. Her presents was... Gone.
I checked the couch, wasn't there. I knocked on the bathroom door. No answer. My heart grew with slight fear and my protective 'boyfriend' side started to take control.
We're not dating, or even mating partners. We're just friends that mess around and flirt. I want her to be more but I'm afraid that I'll mess up somewhere and lose her... Forever.
I shook my head and ran out of the door. My body slammed on the railing of the balcony on the second floor. I scanned the hall. No sign of the guild's first mate.
I rushed down stairs to the bar. Yukino was humming a song as she was straightening the glasses in the bar.
"Yukino, have you seen (Y/N)?" I asked in calm tone.
"No. She normally stays in your guys' room until 10 am, she didn't come down yet though..." She looks behind her shoulder to me, "maybe she went out on a mission."
"She would have to check in with me or you before leaving," I said annoyed.
"The answer is no," she rested her weight on her hand that was placed on the edge of the counter, "I haven't seen her since last night. To be honest, I'm worried."
"Why do you say that?"
"When I came downstairs the guilds doors were open and there were bare footprints going out... Do you think it was her?"
Barefoot? Why didn't she put on shoes?
"Maybe. But you didn't have the nerve to go follow the footprints?"
"I didn't think much of it then," she sighed, "I was stupid not too."
"When was it?" I asked, "when you came down stairs?"
"Around 8 in the morning, but the prints were older than that," she started to arrange the bottles of alcohol and replace the empty ones with new ones.
I sighed in frustration. Saying not a word I went back upstairs. Luna was curled up in a ball on the couch with Lector at the other end.
I put my hand on her head and rustled up her hair waking her up. She stirred a little and her eyes slowly opened. Her green eyes lit up and she smiled, "Good morning!"
Her personality really does reflect (Y/N)'s, I thought and I smiled back.
"G'morning, Luna," I said.
She sat up and yawned, rubbing her eyes, "So what's going on?"
"Do you have any idea where (Y/N) is?"
She sat there for a minute thinking. Her gaze dropped to her lap. Suddenly Luna's head snapped at me, "You mean you don't know where she is?!" I shook my head no.
She jumped up and ran to the window at the back wall, "I'm coming (Y/N)!"
I cocked a brow, "Luna wait!" I threw myself and grabbed her leg. She was half way out of the window with her white wings out and ready to fly. I gently pulled her down into my chest. Her claws gripped my shirt, "Let me go find her!"
I looked at her and hugged her, "She's fine... I know she is. She'll probably come back later tonight with bags of food and presents." Luna looked up, her eyes were big and almost begging. Begging for that to be the truth.
A pang of guilt ran through me. I just hugged her, "we'll go look for (Y/N) tomorrow if she isn't here by tonight."
*~*~*~*~*
It was dusk. The sun was going down. I grew annoyed with (Y/N) disappearance. I've been patiently waiting by the door... waiting for it to open with her happy, smiling face. But concern over powered the frustration.
I threw a back pack on my bed and stuffed it full with clothes, food rations and a water bottle. With no patience I put on a hoodie and a jacket with boots. I slung the bag on my shoulder and stormed out of the guild hall. I followed the footprints to main street. They melted in with the ground of pounded tracks of hundreds of other people.
"Use that nose of yours dummy," I heard a voice behind me. I turned and saw Yukino, Lector, Luna, Rogue, and Fro.
"What are you guys doing here?"
Yukino had a side smile, "We wanted to help. Besides, it's best to travel in groups in this weather." She pulled up her hood of her jacket, "She's our friend too."
I smiled, "well, let's not waste any more time."
Luna ran in front of me, and skipped down the road. She stopped at a side street and pointed down them, "She went this way!"
I gave a solid nod and followed Luna. Turn after turn we were at the entrance of the woods.
The trail of her foot prints left an indent but were blown over with snow from the wind. We all gathered there and looked into the woods. It was dark and the trees left slithering shadows. Their branches waved an eerie hello with the subtle wind. The trees looked dead in the white winter. I bit down onto nothing hard. My clenched jaw gave me almost reassurance and bravery.
I took the first step in. There's no turning back. It's for (Y/N). She'd do the same for anyone. She's saved me from myself now it's my turn to save her. What if she doesn't need saving? My eyes flicked over to movement in the distance to the right. A dog-like creature with 3 tails snarled at me and set it's self sturdily. Its' head flung back and an ungodly howl escaped from it's mighty jaws.
I turned back to the tracks, setting down my answer. No, she needs help.
