"A group of suspicious men had my spirit plaque?" Uk asked, after Da-hye had given him context on why they were here.
"Yes. Did you really lose your Spirit Plaque?" Yul asked. "Did someone steal it from you, or did you lend it?"
"No, I lost it." Uk said.
"Do you remember where and when you lost it?" Dang-gu asked.
"No." Uk said.
"We found it while investigating the soul shifter's case." Da-hye explained. She felt like this wasn't being taken seriously. "This is important."

Da-hye stayed asleep longed than usual because she was tired from the journey to Sari Village and Danhyanggok. Dang-gu opened the door and then closed it.
"Mu-deok and Yul are cooking together." Dang-gu told Da-hye, a coy smile on his face.
"Dang-gu. Da-hye. Hey." Uk waved. "You should bathe here before you go." he said, walking out of the make-shift bathroom. "The mineral water makes your skin soft."
"Yes, I will." Da-hye smiled.
"Have some breakfast too." Uk added.
"Right." Dang-gu said. "Mu-deok and Yul are making breakfast together."
"Together?" Uk asked, almost baffled.
"Yul is cooking rice with Mu-deok." Dang-gu responded. Dang-gu, Da-hye, and Uk walked to the window to see Yul and Mu-deok.
"Goodness." Mu-deok shouted. "I told you to cut the green onions into big pieces."
"This big?" Yul asked.
"No." Mu-deok responded. "Do you not understand what "big pieces" mean?" she asked. Da-hye was a bit flabbergasted as she peeked her head out of the window, Yul had never not been good anything. "Big pieces. Big pieces."
"Big Pieces...big pieces." Yul said as he cut the onion.
"You are wrong. Those are too small." Mu-deok put her hand on the knife and showed Yul how to cut it. "Like this. Big pieces. Like this."
"You should have elaborated more." Yul said. "How was I to know when all you said was "big pieces"?"
"I thought you were the best mage of Jeongjingak." Mu-deok said. "How could you not differentiate what is big from small?" Mu-deok asked. "Forget it. Pour a bowl of water into that soup."
"Wait...Which bowl are you talking about?" Yul picked up the small bowl, "This one?" He picked up the big bowl. "Or do you mean this one?"
Mu-deok tapped the small bowl. "That one."
"Why does it look like Mu-deok is scolding him?" Dang-gu asked.
"Because she is." Da-hye said. It was clear to her that Mu-deok was annoyed with Yul for being slow. Even the best mage of Jeonjingak was slow sometimes.
"Are you sure she likes him?" Dang-gu asked Uk.
"That is the type of girl she is." Uk said. "She does not easily like or feel shy in front of others."
"Goodness. Look at Yul." Dang-gu said. "He is still learning well despite being scolded."
"Learning?" Uk asked.
"Look." Dang-gu said.
"I said that was enough." Mu-deok shouted.
"I do not enjoy salty food." Yul said.
