reunion and restart

Megha's pov

Today i have my secondary school reunion ... Everyone is going... Riya made me wear an evening gown as she was wearing one...
Finally we reached... I miss my school days... Those lunch times... School classes... Back benches in hindi and history  classes .... I miss it ... Riya is as emotional as i am...
Vishal and Satya are also here as expected.... We sat around the table... Having lots to say and lots to hear....
It is fun, meeting all the old faces .. ...  I could see Satya was so uncomfortable every time he had to speak to me...
Am I causing so much problem for him?..

I gathered my courage and said i want to speak to him... he was silent .. shocked and wanted to avoid.... i emphasized that it is important... I took him aside ... It is normal as everyone is busy with going around the school... .
Near a tree he stopped...
I am close to him but still so far...

My courage is melting... I need to get over it... I can't see him in pain...
And ignoring me... It's hurting.. too hurting...
" You know... You can forget all that i said that day... It was all true but... I can come over it .. you can relax... We can be like old batchmates and colleagues... Can you please stop ignoring me... It is affecting my work, my peace..... "

"Huh.. but .. "

" I promise I won't trouble you in that way again... I like you and that is my problem... 90 percent of girls like you .. can you take trouble or keep ignoring them all... You can relax... I wont pressure you... In any way... "

" Listen.. it's unexpected "

" yeah.... But i won't propose to you again... you live your own life... I will live mine... I just couldn't handle it at that time... But now I'm ok.... i will be over you soon... We are just friends... At unofficial times.... and colleagues at official hours... "

" Hmmmm. "

" So it all looks  sorted... so please be you from now on.... Ok then bye... Just take care... "

That's all i could pull... It was too much... Riya followed me to the washroom... I cried .. felt better and we came out... as nothing happened...
I could see Satya feeling better...

It's ok for me to be hurt but the one i love is smiling .... That's enough for me...
It's stupid but that's how i am...

Satya's pov

She is looking great .... her lips are looking beautiful.... So soft... Creamy... I couldn't look at her... It made my heart beat loudly.... Maybe i am an idiot....
Can't Remove that day from my mind...
I am avoiding her eyes as much as possible... ... ..
She asked me to talk to her... Hope she will not cry again... Why do i make her cry.... like that day.... I can't see her cry... I hope she wont say she likes me.
I don't know what to say in return

After she left i felt sad..

Megha did say to leave that day behind... I should be happy but i am not... I wanted to be her friend only then why am i not happy now... I was ignoring her scared that i might hurt her.... But she said she will get over me... It's good isn't it?... but I am still sad....

Maybe I'm sad as I made my friend hurt so much... Yeah that's it...
 

After 10 days or so..

Megha's pov..

Finally my work place is better... It is hard to not love him or to act normal but I am trying to get over him ....
Today the Lieb collaboration is expected..
So meeting time..wake up my brain...
We all reached at 11 am.. I am beside Riya
Finally three people arrived
.. I am shocked ... The third person is least expected... How can he be here
...
Ahhhh

I have not been in his contact for so long ... But it's good to see him.

" Good morning. This is Mr. Abhay. The lead designer of Lieb. We are having a collaboration with them for a fashion show... On a large scale... It's a great opportunity for both of the companies... So let's work on it.." Vishal ended his introduction
Satya" it is important so we will design the jewellery for the models and they will design the dresses... It will help us have a great job"

why is he smiling... Even Satya noticed it...

Whatever he is a killer... every girl in our company is going to be hospitalized... Previously it was only Satya and now Abhay ... These two together are super dangerous...

Abhay is smiling, sweet, frank and Satya is always cold... Just different personalities...

As the project was announced... The bosses decided to have dinner in the evening as today was Riya's and Vishal's anniversary ... Satya and I were obviously coming and so Vishal asked Abhay to join after explaining the cause and also to celebrate the project...

Ok ... We will be there... By 6pm...
Riya told be causual dresses not normal dresses... Hahahahah....

Satya's pov

Why was Abhay so happy to see Megha.. why does he know her name... she was not part of his team... I know she  was in the same company but still ... he is staring at her from time to time... What the hell .... He is in meeting...
He should control his interaction with her after all it's not good for her image...she is a simple girl... she won't  understand even if i explain her ..

This girl is just too naive....

Why is Vishal asking him to join in a family group party... He is an idiot.... We could have thrown him a party tomorrow...
I will keep an eye on him so he stays in his limit...
I smell danger from him... He is good looking, comparable to me..... Even the claims are true about him... But he is not up to any good...

Abhay's pov

She is still so beautiful... Obviously I know her ... Her shocked expression is so cute... Why are you so cute... I could not hold my smile ... I had to cover it....

So she is happy ...
I cant stop myself from looking at her... She is just too enchanting ...

So Riya is engaged... I can join today.... Nice .. Obviously i am not declining it.... I could see Megha and talk to her...
Why is that Mr Satya staring at me like this.... Whatever... He is not important...
