♡Loki One~shots♡

A quiet library

 I woke up in my bed, the covers draped over my body, the sun was still down, the night sky shining with stars, small bright dots prickled into the dark cool sky. I looked to my side to see my beautiful lady. She was hugging her pillow tight to her chest, her legs curled up together under the covers. She was wearing one of my large sleep shirts, it fit her body like a dress but I couldn't help but smile at the sight. Her beauty was beyond compare, she was gorgeous both in her sleep and when she's awake.

I moved out of bed slowly to not wake her, fixing the covers over her shoulders and walking towards the closet, putting on a fresh pair of clothes and slipping out of the room and out into the hallway. Nobody was awake just yet so the entire palace was mine to wander. The huge windows lining the hallways, bringing in some of that gentle moonlight, lighting the dark halls.

I came across the giant mahogany doors to the library, pushing them open slightly, hearing the familiar creak of the hinges.

I walked into the dim room, the walls of books and scrolls lining my sight. The smell of leather and wood filling my nose. I made my way over to one of the plush couches, sitting down and laying my head against the back of the couch, my eyes shutting. A few minutes passed by when I heard the library doors creak again. I didn't move figuring it was a maid.

My eyes opened when I heard a small thump and then an 'ow'. Turning my head I noticed y/n wandering around the library, her eyes fell on me and she smiled, speed walking towards me. I chuckled and opened my arms, letting her crawl into them, she perched herself on my lap, both of her legs thrown to my right

"What are you doing up?" I asked softly, my lips against the side of her head, she mumbled softly, making me chuckle

"I was going to ask the same to you..." she mumbled softly, my hand rubbed gentle circles on her thigh, her body relaxing further into my embrace

"I couldn't sleep. You're turn." I whispered, she snorted quietly and raised her head, a lazy smile on her lips. I leaned forward and placed a small kiss to her lips, feeling her smile wider. Pulling away I smiled at her

"I woke up and you weren't there... so I came looking for you" she said, her small smile turning into a jesting pout. I poked her side, resulting in a laugh bubbling from her throat, I tickled her sides savagely, her body jolting from side to side and laughs erupting from her lips, she basically threw her body away from mine, her body landing on the other corner of the couch, I laughed as she held her arms out as if to defend herself.

I crawled towards her on the couch, crawling to her body and laying on top of her, my head laying on her chest, she was giggling and trying to get out of my hold.

"Can't even go one night without having to be in my wonderful presence can you?" I said teasingly, giving her a grin. She scoffed and rolled her eyes, a small smile on her face.

"yeah right, I can go a long while without you" she said back, she flipped her hair sarcastically, I gasped dramatically and reached my hands down to tickle her side, she kicked and thrashed in my arms, trying to get out of my grasp. Her eyes welled with tears and her laughs were coming out choked. I stopped my assault on her sides and smiled at her, watching her catch her breath while giggling to herself. Once she calmed down she looked up at me, her eyes shining with the wetness of her tears of joy. I leaned down into her body, resting on top of her. Her hands reached up in my hair and began to play with the overgrown strands.

My hands moved under my shirt on her and up to her ribcage, she tensed at the feeling of my hands so close to her once attacked spot. I rubbed my thumb against her soft skin, feeling her relax again. I kissed her neck gently, leaving a trail of feather-light kisses all over her neck

"Loki..." I heard her mumble, I smiled against her neck and pulled away, kissing her nose gently "I love you.."

"I love you more, Darling." I whisper softly, laying my head on her chest, relaxing against her fully.

"Nuh uh.. I love you more." She argued back, I lifted my head and stared at her for a moment before kissing her, biting her lip gently before pulling away

"I'll let you win this one..." I say quietly, laying back down, wrapping my arms under her and just breathing in her smell, she smelt so good and she was very warm 

"Why don't we go back to bed, hm?" she whispers gently, running her fingers through my hair. I hum and nod, lazily getting off of her and helping her up, holding her hand as we make our way out of the library and to our chambers

Stepping inside, she immediately padded her way to the bed. Slowly slipping under the covers. I went towards the window and opened it slightly to let some fresh air in the room before going to lay with her. She opened her arms for me and I slipped between them, cuddling her. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer to me

My head rested on her chest and one of her legs was hiked against my hip.

If this was how I spent the rest of my days... I wouldn't complain one bit.
