"Darling please. I physically cannot take this anymore." He groaned, following behind me like a lost puppy looking for refuge. His fingers held on to the back of my dress so that he didn't break away from me.
I continued to ignore him, walking into Lady Frigga's study. She looked up at us with a warm smile, rising to her feet. She quirked an eyebrow at me, nodding towards her frowning son.
"Take your son please." I smile unamused. She laughed softly, crossing her arms and leaning against her desk. Tilting her head, she cast her eyes to the offended prince.
"By the Norns, son. What have you done to your wife?" she teased with a smile. Loki stammered offended, glaring at me softly. I avoided his stare like the plague.
"I did her nothing." He defended himself, raising his arms in surrender. He placed his hands on his hips and turned to look at me with his lips pursed, suddenly very worried. "Have I done anything?"
I press my lips together, crossing my arms over my chest, my eyes still on Lady Frigga.
"Come here, my son. Help me with some of these spells please?" Frigga asked kindly, making Loki turn to her. His eyes bounced between his mother and I, debating on who to go with. "Come along."
I took this opportunity to turn around and step out the room, closing the door behind me gently. I walked down the hallways, ducking into the library.
The truth was, Loki hadn't done anything bad. Well, it depends on how you view it. I was simply giving him the same treatment he gave me a few days ago. He had ignored me for a whole day because I told him he was greasy.
I'm married to the biggest drama queen known to man.
He had only stopped ignoring me when I offered to give him a bath. He was hesitant at first but once I told him I would massage his scalp and use my bath oils, he basically dived into the bathtub.
I'm married to the biggest baby known to man.
After we were finished, we laid in bed and cuddled until he eventually huffed and apologized for being a fool. I couldn't help but chuckle at the memory, shaking my head softly as I picked up a random book and started reading.
A few hours had passed and I had fallen asleep on the plush couch. I was awoken to fingers running through my hair and up and down my arm. My face wasn't resting on the couch like I expected it to be. Instead, it was held against a hard chest. Before I could freak out, the scent of Loki's cologne wafted through my nostrils, relaxing my body against him.
I heard him chuckle softly, the sound vibrating in his chest like a clap of thunder. His touch didn't stop though, he continued to caress my arm and hair gently, wrapping a lock of hair around his finger before releasing it.
"Have you decided to stop ignoring me now?" he hummed, adjusting himself under me. It took me a second to realize what he was talking about until it registered in my mind that I was supposed to be ignoring him.
I move off of him and sat on the opposite side of the couch, making him groan softly. He tucked his legs under him then slid down the couch, resting his head on my lap. The sly bastard was now on his stomach with his arms wrapped around my waist and his head on my thighs.
I had to abstain from running my fingers through his hair, crossing my arms over my chest. I felt him sigh against me and pepper tiny kisses to my clothed thighs and stomach.
"What did I do, My dove? Did I say something rude?" he murmured against me, flipping onto his back and looking up at me with his pretty green eyes. I stare down at him for a moment before looking away, keeping my mouth sealed.
"Darling~ come on, talk to me." he cooed, lifting his hand to my face and squeezing my cheeks gently, forcing me to look down at him.
I huffed and looked away from his eyes, feeling him squeeze my cheeks a little more. I simply rolled my eyes and pushed his hand away. I shifted under him and stood up, making his head fall on the couch. He grunted and stood up, following behind me again, his finger hooked into the back of my dress again.
The sun was setting over the horizon, birds flying back to their nests, insects humming their sweet tunes as the moon took her place, shining her light along with her stars. I made my way through the halls, heading towards our chambers.
At some point, I tuned out Loki's chanting. Repeating "Darling" over and over again in hopes I paid him any attention. When we finally arrived at our chambers, he let go of me and walked in behind me, closing the door behind him.
Before I could go anywhere, I was pinned to the wall, my hands pinned above my head, his fingers interlaced with mine. All hint of playfulness was gone from his eyes. He stared into my soul with low eyes.
"Why are you ignoring me? Tell me what I did so that I can make amends." He whispered, running the tip of his nose against my cheek.
I debated whether or not to continue ignoring him or to just succumb to his wishes.
"Darling." he warned lowly, his lips against my neck. I shivered a little from the tickles against my throat. "Don't make me tickle you."
At that I decided to succumb.
"Fine. Hi." I groan, removing my hands to push him away and walk towards the bed. He grabs my wrist and tugs me to his chest.
"What did I do?" he asked softly, his eyes much softer than before. I sighed and pursed my lips, realizing how dumb it was.
"You didn't say 'I love you' last night." I mumble, looking down at my feet. I didn't hear him nor see him do anything. I looked up at him confused only to see him smirking down at me.
"Is that the only reason?" he smirked, placing his hands on my hips. When I nodded softly, he leaned down and whispered in my ear.
"How about I show you instead?"
