Friendly growled at the spear trapping her left arm to the tree and yanked it out, wincing in pain before cradling Jack in her arms. She stared at him, tears spilling down her cheeks. "Why...? Why did you do that...?" She whimpers.

Jack raised his hand and rested it on her cheek, grimacing. "I couldn't...s-see you die..." He whispers.

The guardians walked up to them and stared down at Jack. Tooth had already burst into tears. North and Sandman's eyes glistened with their tears and Bunnymund stared in shock as he tried to fight back his. Friendly leaned into Jack's hand and put her hand over it. She closed her eyes tightly and intwined her fingers with his. Then she opened her eyes when his hand began to slide down her cheek. It fell to his side as the life in his body faded away. Friendly froze and stared at his closed eyes.

"J-Jack...?" She whispered. She shook him lightly. "Jack...? O-open your eyes..." She whimpered. She sounded like a child which made the guardian's hearts melt. Bunnymund was the last to give in to the tears and they escaped his eyes and stuck to his fur. Friendly carefully placed Jack on the grass and shook him a little harder. "Please...please open your eyes..." She whimpered. Jack remained still, his skin deathly pale. Friendly grimaced as more sandy tears fell down her cheeks. She suddenly let out a pained cry and buried her head in Jack's chest, sobbing harshly. Light limped over to them and gently nudged Jack's cheek, letting out a whimper. Friendly didn't want to face the truth but there was nothing she could do.

Jack Frost was dead.

Her first friend. Her best friend. The one she cared for with all her heart was gone.

Friendly slowly rose her head from Jack's chest and stopped whimpering. Then she slowly turned towards the guardians, making them take a step back. Friendly's eyes were golden and burning with rage. Her sandy hair spread out behind her as a strong gust of wind blew past and hovered above Jack. She was baring her teeth and her fists shook with the force she was clenching them with. This frightened the guardians. She slowly stood up and they took another step back. Was Pitch controlling her again? But even if he was, why did she look so enraged and hurt? Then they realised that she wasn't glaring at them, she was glaring behind them. They looked behind them and saw that she was giving this frightful glare to Pitch. They were surprised to see that even Pitch seemed a little frightened by this look.

Friendly began to slowly walk towards him, Light limping by her side. The guardians cleared her path and watched her intently. Suddenly, a fearling rose up from the shadows and began walking at her side. Then another, and another, and another. Pitch's eyes widened as Friendly walked towards him with an army of his very own fearlings behind her. She stopped when she was only a few inches away from him and grabbed his collar.

"You killed Jack." She said, in a raucous voice.

"Technically, it was his own fault for jumping in the way." Pitch corrected a little nervously.

This made Friendly's eyes burn even more with rage, if that was even possible. She pushed him down to the ground and he shuffled back. Friendly's eyes suddenly turned emotionless. "He's all yours." She said blankly.

Pitch suddenly gasped as the fearlings behind her charged at him. Tooth closed her eyes and turned away as Pitch was engulfed by the black sand and was dragged back down into his hole in the ground, letting out screams and cries of pain. The guardians winced as his screams of pain echoed through the forest until suddenly stopping. Friendly sighed and hung her head before looking back at the guardians.

"What the hell was that...?" Bunnymund whispers.

"Since I'm one of them now, I can understand them. They said they were tired of taking orders from Pitch and I agreed to help them get their revenge. That's why they turned on him earlier and why they have now." She explained, blankly. Bunnymund looked at her a bit closer and noticed that her eyes where violet again.
