"Hello... 'Little Fawn.'. He grinned down at me.

Panicked, I tried to talk through the bond, but my brain felt fuzzy, and my entire body went limp. All I could do was stare into the evil eyes above me.

"We're going to have a lot of fun together."

I wanted to fight back, but my body protested every command my brain gave out. He pulled the wet cloth from my mouth, but I still couldn't speak. I screamed and screamed my mate's names, but I heard nothing in return.

I'm sure if my body wasn't limp, I would be trembling. It was even a pain in the ass to blink. Every time I closed my eyes, it took so much to open them back up.

"Knowing Karina, I figured she would try to keep you trapped in your house," he whispered. Even though the packs weren't far away, they were distracted, and he used that to his advantage.

"I'm so glad she let her guard down," he traced his index finger on my cheek. "You look just like your mother. She could have been a great ascent to my pack, human or not, but you got in the way." Alan snarled.

I screamed for my mates once more but was again met with silence.

What the fuck was on that cloth?

He pulled up my limp body into a sitting position, propping my head on his shoulder he pulled a danger from a holster on his back and cut the hood from my jacket. He dropped my body, not caring that my head just hit the ground.

I watched him stab the fabric of my hoodie into the tree. He grinned at his work.

"Just a little prize. I like to show off, believe it or not." he walked back to me picking me up and throwing me over my shoulder. "They'll try to find you, but they never will." she started a fast pace.

After what seemed like forever, we stopped. And he threw me on the ground, right on my shoulder, and I felt it pop out of place. I would have yelled if I could have. A low grunt just escaped my lips.

Again, I called my mates, but I still heard nothing. Never in my life have I felt like this. So scared. So lonely.

The pain coursing through my body was not like anything have ever experienced.

"This is her?" I heard a raspy female voice behind me.

He huffed. "Yup." He kicked me toward the female voice so I could face her. A pale white woman stood above me. Her jet-black hair was pulled back in a ponytail, and her eyes were as black as night. Her hands clasped together as she looked over my form.

She smiled cruelly. "You will do miraculous things for our kind witches and werewolves."

"Let's just get this over with. I'm sure her abomination of a harem will be coming for her at some point," Alan growled.

The woman glared at him. "Patience is nonexistent in all kinds of men, it seems." she kneeled and roughly gripped my chin between her thumb and index finger. "Sleep."

Just a simple word made everything turn dark.

I have no idea how long it had been since I was put in some sleep trance, but when I woke up, I had complete control over my body, and the pain I felt with my dislocated shoulder was a thousand times worse now that I could move my body.
