When we returned to the cabin, our Alphas fed us and then advised us to rest in another room. Initially, we wanted to fight that order, but through the bond, Reagan told us we should at least try, and being us, we listened to her because who are we to disobey our mate?

After a quick bath, we ate and slept in the extra room that was closest to our bedroom. It was a tiny compromise to ourselves. We would listen to everyone but find small loopholes.

We all cuddled up, and within minutes, we were knocked out.

Apparently, we slept for ten hours. During that time, Celia told us that Reagan had eaten enough to feed a small army and had bathed twice.

Bryce was still with her. They were back in our bedroom lounging out. Talking.

Now here we were, well rested, laying in bed with Lennox standing at the door with Celia. "We need to go out hunting for more meat. Reagan is eating... a lot, and our meat shack is running low. Rose and Hazel, go fuel up downstairs and meet us for the hunt."

Rose and Hazel groaned. "Do we have to? Why can't you do it?" Hazel huffed.

"Because we are a pack, and you two are two of our best hunters. Now, get your ass up and help provide for this pack... and your mate." Celia glared at them.

Rose turned to us. "I feel as if you two were slacking in the hunting department on purpose." she accused.

Giggling, I leaned over and kissed her cheek. "You love providing for us. Stop complaining. It's a major ego boost for you two." I whispered in her ear.

Rose blushed. "You're right." she pecked my lips.

Hazel and Rose both hopped off the bed, heading toward the bedroom door.

Just as they walked out of the door, Ivy wrapped her arms around my waist and snatched me back in her arms. "You two have fun. We'll continue our besurty rest." Ivy snuggled deeper into the bed, keeping me close to her. I couldn't help but laugh.

"No, no!" Lennox yelled. "You two are working too."

I closed my eyes and groaned. "Of course we are." I sat up. "What are about to make us do?"

Hazel and Rose were grinning behind Celia.

"Wood, it's getting colder up here, and while any other time the chill wouldn't bother us, we need to consider that a human is staying with us. She was shivering all night; I swear her teeth clattering kept me up." Celia sighs.

I heard a small giggle come from our bedroom. We all turned our attention to it. Reagan was listening in on us. I smiled.

It was a little strange because now having 'secret' conversations that involved her would be harder, but it was pleasant to know she was using her abilities, even if this time it just meant it was by accident.

I patted Ivy's stomach and got out of the bed. "I swear that's busy work. You could easily do this." I said, glaring at Lennox.

"Yeah, but who would hunt and make your food? You Runts are going to eat us out of house and home. As your Alpha, I must do my duty for this pack, even if I hate it.

Ivy chuckled. "Shut up. You, like Rose and Hazel, find it so rewarding when you bring back a kill for your mate."

Lennox shrugged. "She rewards me in the bedroom when I do. Why would I not impress her with her favorite meats?" she said like it was the most obvious thing.
