Chapter 24

I smile before I make my way to my car and drive to Noa's apartment complex. I remember her number from when she told us. I make my way up to her door and knock. After a few seconds, the door swings open, "Hey Gi..." She notices my injuries, "...oh my god! Are you okay?" She asks worried

She grabs my hand, bringing me into the apartment, "Yeah, yeah, we figured out Chip was the one who raped Tabby and Imogen and who drugged me. I may have given him a taste of his own medicine" I explain

She looks at me, "Oh my god, Chip?" She asks

I nod my head, "Sit, let me clean you up" She says

She grabs the first aid kit and starts wiping the blood, "That's not why I'm here though" I say

She looks at me, "There's something I need to tell you" I say

"You can tell me anything Gi" She says

I look in her eyes as she stares into mine, "I like you" I say

She doesn't answer, "I've liked you for a long time but you were with Shawn and I wasn't even sure you liked girls. Then when we started getting closer, all be it because of Karen and A but I wouldn't trade going through this for anything...I got to know you better and we became friends. But I don't know if I can just be friends, I like you so much and I think you like me too. But after tonight, I needed you to know" I say quickly

She stares at me for a second, "You know what? This was a bad idea, I'm sorry for coming over and getting blood everywhere, I'll just—just go" I say getting up

Before I can make it to the door, I am being spun around. My face inches apart from Noa's, "Noa..." I whisper

"Shut up" She whispers

Then she places her hand on the back of my neck, pulling me in, closing the gap between us. Our lips meet and I swear fireworks go off. Our lips move together, perfectly in sync. Molding together harmoniously as if they were made for each other. I place my hands on her hips to steady myself as her's stay on the back of my neck.

We pull apart when air becomes a problem, I rest my forehead against hers, "Woah" I whisper

"I like you too" She whispers

I open my eyes and we look at each other, "You do?" I ask

She nods her head before grabbing my hand and sitting us back down on the couch, "I think I have for awhile now, but I was scared...I've never liked a girl before and it scared me. But ever since getting to know you, my feelings intensified and I can't ignore them any longer" She says

"It's okay to be scared" I whisper

"I don't want to be scared anymore, I want to be with you" She says

I smile before I remember, "What about Shawn?" I ask

"I broke up with him earlier today" She says

I look at her, "You did?" I ask

She nods her head, "We haven't been happy for awhile and I was tired of being with him when I wanted to be with you" She says

I smile, "This isn't a dream right? This is real?" I ask

She places a soft kiss on my lips, "It's real Gi" She whispers

I smile as I grab her hand, "Noa, I know it's early but since all the crazy shit that's already happened. I want to be with you, and I was going to ask in a more romantic way but...will you be my girlfriend?" I ask nervously

A huge grin appears on her face, "Yes, absolutely" She says

"Really?" I ask

She nods her head smiling, "Yes, really. I'd love to be your girlfriend, Gi" She says

I smile before pulling her into another kiss. When we pull apart, she rests her head on my shoulder and I wrap my arm around her waist pulling her closer. We sit there for a few minutes in a comfortable silence. She runs her hand over my bruised and bloodied knuckles, "Are you sure you're okay?" She asks

"Yeah, I'm with you, of course I'm okay" I say smiling

She sits up and looks at me, "Can I at least put some bandages on your cuts and give you ice for your hand?" She asks

I nod my head before she jumps up grabbing some ice before sitting back down, "Here you go, baby" She says

"Thanks, love" I say as she places it on my hand

I wince before she grabs some thin bandages, placing them on my cuts. She keeps her hands on the sides of my face, caressing my cheek with her thumb, "You could have gotten seriously hurt" She whispers

"I know, but...after what he did...I was willing to risk it" I say

"Never do anything like that again...I just got you...I can't loose you" She whispers

I lean in and place a soft kiss on her lips, "I promise, but if you're in danger, I will protect you, no matter the cost" I say

I pull her into my lap and hug her, "Do we tell the girls?" She asks

"That's up to you, Princess. But I should warn you that Tabby and Imogen are the ones that told me to come here, so they basically know" I say

"I want everyone to know you're mine" She says

"I'm all yours love" I say
