[Thursday - Millwood High]
Faran, Mouse, Noa, and I are sitting in class as Mrs. Gibbons does attendance, "Noa Olivar?" Mrs. Gibbons asks
"Here" Noa answers
"Ah, Miss Adams and Miss Haworthe" we turn around to see them, "So nice of you to join us" Mrs. Gibbons says
"Uh, so sorry about that, Mrs. Gibbons" Tabby says
"Won't happen again, Mrs. Gibbons" Imogen says
"Oh, no, that's a double walk of shame if I've ever seen one" Noa jokes
"Absolutely" Faran says
"Oh, yeah" Mouse says
"No doubt" I say
"Helen Ripley?" Mrs. Gibbons continues with attendance
After class, we're sitting at the pavilion, "Spill" Faran tells them
"Every romantic detail" Mouse says
"Tell us everything" I say
"And I demand an ab count from the both of you" Noa says
Imogen giggles, "Okay, nothing happened. We just...we slept. But I felt totally protected" Imogen says
"Aw! That's so sweet. Tabitha?" Faran says
"Okay. We also just slept, after I told him all about Bloody Rose and he didn't kick me out. It was beyond sweet. Um, I took Christian's bed and he was on the floor right beside me. Though we ddi hold hands until I fell asleep, which I loved" Tabby says
"OMG. How dreamy. And here I thought Ash was the last true gentleman" Mouse says
"At their own pace, Noa" I tease, nudging her with my elbow
Noa frowns a little, but before she could say anything, Faran raises an eyebrow and smirks, "You two are the last people who should be judging anyone's pace. I'm pretty sure you and Gianna are the most sexually active couple in this group"
The comment hung in the air for a second before we all burst into laughter. Noa rolls her eyes, but there was a smug little grin tugging at the corner of her lips, "Hey, I'm not complaining" Noa says, draping an arm around my shoulder, "Somebody's gotta hold the title"
I shrug, leaning into her, "What can I say? We aim to please"
Faran shakes her head, "You two are ridiculous"
Mouse chuckles, giving us a playful side-eye, "Yeah, yeah, keep it PG, you two. Some of us still like to pretend we're innocent"
"Too late for that" I say, smirking as I met Noa's gaze
"Anyway" Faran says, steering the conversation back, "I think it's nice. Makes me really like these guys"
"Ooh, uh, and another plot twist. I talked to Dr. Sullivan, and, wait for it...she also lost a child" Imogen reveals
"What? What'd she say?" Tabby asks
"Apparently, back when she treated Rose Waters, Rose asked her to help Archie, but she didn't. Then, years later, her son was murdered. Possibly by A, or possibly by some other Bogeyman" Imogen says
"Seems slightly farfetched" Faran says
"I know. It's like, do I believe her or not?" Imogen asks
"While we're on the subject, I may have seriously agitated the SpookySpaghetti community by posting a video of myself pretending to be Angela Waters" Mouse says
"Okay, that...doesn't sound good" I say
"It's not. It's terrifying. But I reached out to my computer teacher and basically begged him to meet up with me to see if he should make any sense of SpookySpaghetti. Maybe...
Maybe there is a way to take it down. Until the, as far as the reckoning is concerned, I think all of us are in the crosshairs. It's not just Tabby anymore" Mouse says
