Spencer POV

I can't believe this is my life. I know that being in the NFL is one thing but having the people I love there, cheering me on is the greatest feeling. Today is my wife and I's second anniversary and I plan on doing something special for her tonight.

With both of us being in our mid to late 20s, we've both decided that we wanted to start trying for a baby again. Liv has always wanted to be a mom and even though she's an amazing stepmom, I know she wants her own baby. I love her deeply and it's going to be great.

Being in the NFL has its perks but waking up at 4:30 on game days is stressful because it's all the rush to practice and scrimmage all day before the game. It's no breaks. I quietly shift myself out of bed when I feel Liv slowly turn over and call my name.

"Spencer, baby...come back to bed." She says still sleep.

"I wish I could baby but I have to get to the stadium. I'll call you when you wake up and Milo and Axel will be right outside the door. I love you and I'll text you when I get to the stadium." I say as I gather my bags and kiss her.

Leaving her is always the hardest especially when it is my week to have my daughter Lelani because let's just say she doesn't really like Olivia. So not being there and helping Olivia is hard but I know I need to go and win this game for my baby and family.

I threw my things in the car and headed to the stadium.

9:30 AM

OLIVIA POV

I hate Sundays usually because they are the most hectic and unenjoyable days. Just like today. I just want to sit up here and spend all day in bed but unfortunately, Jordan and Lelani will be here in 30 minutes and I need to freshen up.

I throw on some sweats and a cute crop top right as I hear the door ring...I take a deep breath as I go downstairs telling myself..."Here goes nothing"

"HI LELANI...Hi Jordan. Happy Sunday." I say with the biggest smile on my face. Looking at her with her dad's jersey on brings me joy.

"Hello, Olivia. I still cannot believe that you and Spencer live in this expensive ass house. I mean it makes sense because it is all under him and his money so really you're just living here." She says cutting me a deep look.

"Well if you must know, I am actually the one that bought this house and yes Spencer and I live here and we also plan to raise our future kids here so please if you don't mind....just drop Lelani off," I state getting frustrated.

"Jeez...someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Alright...alright I'll stop. Okay, baby. Mommy loves you and will see you on Wednesday. If you have any problems, please let your daddy know okay... now give me kisses." She tells Lelani as she walks into the house.

"Otay bye bye mommy. Love you twu." She says melting my heart. I close the door and watch as Jordan pulls out of the driveway.

As I close the door, I feel Lani at my feet. She looks at me then runs asking if we can call her dad. I take my phone out of my pocket dialing his number. On the 3rd ring, he finally answered, making me form the biggest smile on my face.

"Lelani your dad's on the phone. Come and say Hi!" I yell upstairs. Soon enough I hear her footsteps come down the stairs and run behind me. I angle the phone to where he can see her and let them have their moment while I start on breakfast.

"Okay, baby...Give the phone back to Liv, please." I hear him say. Lani throws a fit but eventually gives me the phone and runs to go and get her toys.

"Hey, baby...how was the scrimmage?" I asked focusing my attention on him.

"It was good. I think we have a good chance of beating the Eagles tonight. Coach told the players that we could go home for a bit, so I'll be home no later than 10:15." He says putting on his gym clothes.

"Okay, baby. That's good. Look let me finish Lani's breakfast. I'll see you when you get here. I love you." I said turning off the stove. I hope he hasn't noticed the mopey and sad look that I have on my face.

"Alright, Liv. I love you. See you soon." He says hanging up the phone. I sigh in relief that he never asked what was going on but that conversation with Jordan got to me. Just because her marriage with Spencer didn't work doesn't mean she can criticize mine.

I walk over to Lelani and put her in her high chair. I try and talk to her but it is useless because she only talks to her mom and dad. So while she's eating, I talk the dogs out and let them do their morning business. Right as I let them in, I heard the garage open.

"Lani, Daddy's home," I say with so much excitement because I can finally go and have some time to myself. Spencer walks into the kitchen and kisses Lelani on the cheek, then comes and gives me a kiss.

"Okay, she's all yours. Have fun." I say breaking the kiss and jogging upstairs. I grabbed some shoes and a towel and ran to go workout.

SPENCER POV

Something is bothering Olivia and I can feel it. She usually loves to spend time with Lani in the morning but today is different. I plan on asking her about it but first, I need to change Lani, feed the dogs, and pack my football gear in the car.

I walk upstairs and hear Olivia in the gym. I walk to go change Lani and then put her down for a nap. I packed my bags, put them in the car, cleaned the kitchen, and then walked into the exercise room wrapping my hands around her waist.

"SHIT...GODDAMN...You're even finer than when I met you." I say kissing her shoulder. Olivia works out daily but weight lifting, she only does that when she's mad or something is on her mind.

"Thanks, my love." She says and I watch her go down and back up. I fully admire her until she stops and looks directly at me before going and drinking her water.

"What happened don't tell me it was nothing because you usually jump on me when I walk in the door. Did I do something?  Leave something open? Forgot to feed the dogs?" I asked concerned.

"Babe it's not you. It was something that Jordan had said but I don't want to talk about it. All I truly want to do is finish this workout and support you at your game. " She states frustrated.

"Okay, baby," I say slapping her ass. I don't want to make her really upset so I'm just going to leave the conversation where it's at but I will call Jordan and ask what in the hell she said.

"Maybe after the game, we can try for a baby," Liv states making me smile. Ever since our last miscarriage, we've been putting it off but we have both talked it over and think that it is time for a baby.

"Now that's more like it. If you're ready I'm ready but I seriously have to go or coach will be on my ass." I state grabbing my keys and kissing my wife.

We both said our "I love yous" and I was out of the house. I couldn't wait to see my wife and daughter out on the field later.
