"Thank you guys for coming! Make yourselves at home!" I tell some of our guests that walk in. I wasn't expecting this big of a turnout for family dinner but I'm glad everyone that RSVP'd showed up.
I walked into the kitchen and saw Olivia on the phone and it looks like she's plotting something. I wait by the countertop as she finishes up her conversation and finally gives me some attention. I admire how brave and strong Liv is. She is feeling worse but she is pushing through and smiling through it all.
"How you feelin'? I know that your headache has gotten worse. If you need to lie down, go ahead baby, I got this. Take some time for yourself and rest you and the baby need it. Aight? I care about you. These people in my house don't matter, so if you feel off, let me know and I'll cover for you." I tell her as I rope her in for a hug.
"Thanks, babe, I might take you up on that offer. I just don't want to leave you down here with all of these people in our house. Even though you know how to keep a party going, I feel bad doing that. I just need an hour and a half, can that do?" She asked and I nodded.
"Baby, I told you that it's you that matters. Take as long as you need. I know that you might feel bad but at the end of the day, it's your health that matters, so ending this party an hour earlier than it was supposed to end shouldn't be a bad thing." I tell her as I kiss her head.
I watch as she kisses me and walks upstairs. I turn back around and see my mom with her arms folded and confusion on her face.

OLIVIA POV
I walk into our bathroom and run myself a nice hot bath. Since there is company over, I just run the bath and get inside of it. My head has been pounding for the past few hours and all of the noise downstairs does not help.
I sit and relax in the bubble bath when I hear the door open. I don't think much of it because it's always Spencer but to my surprise......it's DEVEN!
"Damn, you're even more beautiful than I imagined. I don't know why I let you go." He tells me walking fully into the bathroom. I don't know how in the hell he got up here when I locked the door.
"How the....how did you get in here? I locked the door and the only person who had a key was my husband. Second of all, why are you here? I never invited you. Look we're over okay! I'm happily married...HAPPILY!"

"Oh, whatever. That man does not care about you. I do. Now....move over so I can join. I miss this body of yours and I want you all to myself." He says as I slap him and yell Spencer's name.
He runs upstairs to see Deven trying to get in the bath with me and they both start fighting. I slowly but steadily get out of the shower and go into my closet and up some clothes on, pissed that my alone time was disrupted.
"GET THE FUCK OUT MY HOUSE!" I hear Spence yell as I rub my head.
"I'm sorry babe, I know you wanted some alone time. I'll make it up to you later. Okay?" He tells me and I answer with a slight attitude even though it wasn't his fault.
"Yeah, sure whatever. Can we just go downstairs and enjoy dinner? At this point, alone time is non-existent, and curing this headache is too." I say as I walk past him and he grabs my hand.
I release my hand and walk away going back downstairs to join the commotion. We all gather at the table, eat, and enjoy dinner as a family.
SPENCER POV
Mostly everyone has cleared out. We made dinner early so we could have some time alone to open presents as a family. Liv's been oddly quiet these past few hours and it worries me. I walk into the living room and wrap my hands around her waist.
"I wanted to apologize because I invited Kia to the Christmas Dinner because she's a friend of ours and we consider her family. I know that dude up there was also her husband and the doctor who checked on you when you were in the hospital, which is sketchy as to why she would send him up there but I think you handled it well." I tell her as she chuckles.
"I never told you this but Deven is my ex-boyfriend who I was with way before I met you. He cheated and hurt me so I broke it off with him and I guess that's when he met Kia. As to inviting her to the party, I was okay with that but I wasn't expecting him to come I have some suspicion as to why she did what she did." She told me as I kissed her shoulder.
"Baby, Kia is in love with you. I figured this out when she came to Lani's birthday party because of how much she was all up on you and constantly needed you to do things for her. So with that being said, I say we play her game and then eventually confront her about it in the end." Liv tells me as I slowly move to her neck.
"I say that...we....open....these....presents, follow through with that plan, and I'll make it up to you upstairs because you're the only one I want." I tell her as she turns around and kisses me.

HEY YALL! I am officially on break so I plan on updating some more. I just loved this chapter! Spencer is starting to put his marriage first and that is what we all wanted. Kia is a bitch for doing what she did. She tried to cause tension and heartbreak between Spelivia but it looks like our favorite couple is stronger than that.
Chapter Questions: What things should Spencer do to "act" like he likes Kia? How should Olivia and Spencer confront Kia? How did we like this chapter? Should gender reveal be the next chapter?
