"Female looks like she's in her late 20s, shot in the stomach and leg. Take her to urgent care immediately." I hear one of the doctors say. I tried to follow them into the urgent care waiting room but they told me it was off limits. I contacted our families and let them know what was happening.
"Ma, look, I need you to come to the hospital. Liv's been shot and I-I can't lose her mom. I've called Coach Baker and Laura and they are headed down. One of my teammates said they could watch Lelani so she's cared for." I tell my mom and she lets me know she's headed down too.
I knew that it was going to be a long night, but my mind was focused on my wife and unborn child. I know all I said to her this morning was hurtful and I knew she was in her feelings at the courthouse but she never said anything.
I just hope that my wife comes through this and our child is okay.
45 MINUTES LATER
"Family of Olivia James? Hello everyone, I am Dr. Andrews and I am happy to report that Mrs. James' surgery was successful. She is currently in her room and we will be allowing visitors shortly." He says starting to walk off but I stopped him to ask him about our baby.
"Hey Doc, how's the baby? Did any of this hurt our child?" I ask him and he tells me the news that I am super happy to hear.
"No sir. The baby is wonderful. As a matter of fact, would you like to come see her? I was just paged by one of the nurses telling me that she was awake. If you don't mind me asking, why is the greatest football player here, and what is your relation to the patient?" He asked me and I looked at him all crazy.
"That's my wife man. So if you don't mind, I'd like to see her." I tell him as he nods and we take the elevator to the 2nd floor.
OLIVIA POV
"Careful honey, you just had surgery. We want you as comfortable as possible. I assure you that Dr. Andrews will be up here shortly with one of your guests. Just relax." I heard someone say but I couldn't focus on anything besides the fact that I needed my husband.
"Baby...thank God you're okay. I don't know what to do if you don't pull through." He tells me as I shush him.
"Don't speak like that. I made it, didn't I? I'm not leaving you. You and Lani mean the world to me and I will fight even if it is to my last breath." I tell him as the doctor walks in. I recognized that face and turns out it was my ex from high school, Deven.
"Hello, Mrs. James, I am happy to tell you that surgery was successful. We got both of the bullets out and you and the baby are safe. We need to wait a few days but if your vitals look good, you will be able to be discharged." He tells me and I look at Spencer.

"Great! Thank you so much, Doctor." I tell him as he says in the room doing things that really don't need to be done, but I ignore it and spend time with my husband.
30 MINUTES LATER
"Alright baby, I'm going to go get the food. Call me if you need anything, I love you." He tells me while kissing me.

"I love you more. I'll see you when you get back." I state breaking the kiss. I watch him walk out the door as I reflect on the life that I have.
"So you're married huh?" I hear from across the room. I roll my eyes knowing Deven still has a thing for me.
"Yes happily. He's literally the best." I tell him sensing his demeanor change.
Deven and I dated in high school and through college. I thought he was going to be the man that I married but turns out he had other plans. He ended up sleeping with my "sister" and my best friend. Kia and I pulled through but I still can't believe she chose him over me.
"Well, congratulations." He says and I nod.
I hope Spence gets back soon.
SPENCER POV
I arrive back at the hospital and enter our room, when I see a huge vase of flowers with Liv's name on it. I pick up the card and read it. I stand there shocked as I read it word for word.
"Olivia, you know I have loved you for the longest. You were and still are my everything and I wish that I could make things right, That night we shared was amazing, and I heard about the baby. Is it mine? You know we forgot to use protection. Anyways, just remember that I love you and can't wait for us to be husband and wife"-D
I hear Liv wake up and I am heated and ready to confront her. After all, I have done, my wife is just going to sit here and cheat on me. I don't think so. I put the food down and crossed my arms letting her know it was serious.
"Who the fuck is D, Liv? Why is he sending you flowers and when did you cheat on me?" I ask her hoping for a truthful answer as she reads the card, but instead, I get a laugh. She looks at the front and back of the card before tossing it on the bed.
"Spencer I don't know who this is. I have no clue what he's talking about. I promise you that this baby is yours and I never had sex with anyone but you babe. Who is this and why did he send me flowers? No one besides family knows we're here." She says, as I get mad.
"FUCK LIV! TEll ME THE FUCKING TRUTH....You know what? I'm done. Spend the night alone. We'll talk in the morning....you're such a whore." I say before realizing what just came out of my mouth.
"Baby I-" She cuts me off before I can speak....
"GET THE FUCK OUT!"
WOOOOOOO...soooo Liv has a past. Doctor Deven. He doesn't like that his ex-girlfriend is married and he kind of gives me jealous ex vibes. I am so glad that Olivia is okay and that she pulled through. My man Spence is really starting to piss me off. He is overreacting and his wife told him the truth...but calling her a whore when she's pregnant with your child. BOY BYE.
