Morning came and Team RVER was now awake, well, with the expectation of their leader, Rinni Bellereve. They had knocked on her door but she didn't wake up to the noise. What did they do you may ask? Well, they woke her up of course, with the help of a balloon and cold water. Rinni just glared at her team before kicking them out of the room where she was staying. After changing the team had breakfast. Sadly Violet's parents, Aro and Realeza could not join them due to an early meeting they needed to attend.
"So, what's the plan for today?" Rinni asked
"We're heading to Mantel today. We're going to help out in a clinic today."
"Huh? So we're be stuck doing medical things all day?" Everet asked
"It's not bad to learn first aid you know" Violet uttered
"Besides, we can do other stuff once we're done with it. Last I heard there's a really cool club in Mantel. Maybe we can go there after helping."
That caught the attention of the two boys of the team. They stared at their leader for a bit before turning to Violet.
"Why are you guys staring at me for?" Violet asked
"Can we go if we're done? I mean you're the local here"
"Sure, there's nothing wrong with that."
The rest of the team celebrated and began to eat quickly, getting excited to explore Mantle.
Upon reaching their destination they immediately saw how different Mantle was from Atlas. Rinni, Everet, and Rhys had an idea that it was going to be like this but seeing it, their assumptions are very different., things were a lot worse than what they assumed. Rinni looked around and she was reminded of the lower levels in Mistral when she went there once. A hand waved in front of her causing her to snap out of her thoughts and she was met with worried dark gray eyes.
"You okay?" Violet asked
"I'm fine. Looking here kinda reminds me of the lower levels of Mistral, a little more advanced version but still reminds me of it."
"When Atlas was built Mantel was left behind to its own devices despite the presence of Atlesian Army." Violet explained
"Figures. Mantel wasn't built in a day but everyone knows that the higher you go, the better things are when you go to the city."
"Yeah, anyway, Everet and Rhys are waiting for us so, let's go?"
Rinni nodded and followed Violet to where Everet and Rhys were, who were at the entrance of a clinic. Upon entering they are met with a site of a senior gentleman with a deep complexion and receding white hair. He dons a green cap and oval-shaped spectacles. His attire includes a red vest layered over a cream-colored shirt adorned with a pink bowtie. Coordinating with his cap and reddish-brown belt, he completes the look with dark mustard trousers and leather boots. The old man was on a modified robotic chair that had four legs.
"Hello Dr. Polendina" Violet uttered
"Ah, if it isn't Violet Edola. Last I heard you were in Atlas for a vacation after attending your first year in Beacon"
"That's true, but that doesn't mean I can't help. I even brought more volunteers"
"Of course" Doctor Polendina chuckled
"Well, introductions are a must so... My name is Pietro Polendina, it's a pleasure to meet you"
"Well, these are my teammates, Doctor. This is my partner, Rhys Carlson, this is Everet Exley, and finally, our leader, Rinni Bellereve."
"Bellereve you say? Are you perhaps related to Borra Storm Bellereve?"
"Seriously? Does everyone here know my mom or grandpa?" Rinni asked
"To be fair, they did live here" Everet uttered
"True... But, yes, Borra is my grandfather, well, adoptive grandfather but my grandfather nonetheless Doc."
"So you are his formidable granddaughter he has told me about. He told me you are quite powerful at a young age."
"You kept in contact with my grandpa Doc?"
"Yes, the last time we talked was when he apparently caught you sneaking out of the house to go to Vale."
"Okay, guilty as charged, so what can we help with Doctor?" Rinni said changing the subject causing her team to snicker
Pietro then began to tell Team RVER where they could help, Rinni and Violet being the ones handling the front while Everet and Rhys went off to help with any equipment. People who had appointments with their prosthetics came in and Violet and Rinni would check their records before they waited to see the doctor, when it was time Violet would be the one to give the files to the doctor. Rhys and Everet were the doctor's extra hands when prosthetics needed to be fixed and so on. Things started to die down around late afternoon so the doctor decided to teach the team with some tech.
Once all was done, team RVER decided to head to the club that they were talking about. They enjoyed their night before they went back and let the exhaustion of the day take over.
