Sianna Pov

I need a plan; I need to leave. I start looking around and grab a string bag from the closet, taking a few shirts, underwear, pants, and bras. I stuffed a couple of socks too, I put on a fresh pair of socks and my best shoes. They aren't new, I haven't had a new pair of shoes in years.

Looking in the mirror I tossed my hair in a bun, black hoodie, black leggings, and dirty worn-out convers. I look tired my face is still swollen from the beatings I took in the last couple of hours.

I can't keep doing this if it's not for a hacking job or dancing at the club, oh and the beatings left and right because I refuse to sleep around so they can make money off of me. The "Master" of the house, who no one knows what his actual name is, gets in his pissy mood when I refuse, especially to sleep with him.

I've been here for three years, and all three I've been nothing but below everyone in the house.

Even the girls rank higher than me simply because if they work, they only have to pay a percentage back to the Master. If I work, I get nothing, I don't get to keep any money.

Why?

Because I'm their slave. I have to do what they say and obey every command, and I'm not allowed to speak unless spoken to.

It sucks I know. I just want to leave; I can't wait for the "almost" to happen.

With one last look in the mirror, I headed to the bedroom door. I can't leave through the front entrance, that would blow my plan. I make it to the window down the hall. Everyone is mostly sleeping, doing drugs, or sleeping around.

I carefully lift the window and let myself fall from the second-story floor of the house. Reckless I know, but I knew there would be bushes to cushion my fall.

Not the best cushion but it was better than nothing. I stilled for a while to make sure no one heard me, and no one was coming.

I was up on my feet and ready to do. The slight breezy air brought a pink tint to my cheeks and nose. With a deep breath, I began to walk to the back part of the compound, where nobody went. That was my only way out, now that I think about it may be going through here at night isn't the best idea. It looks like a scene from a horror film.

I stopped and looked at the path ahead of me, I can't say I'm not scared because I am. I began walking and pulling branches to the side so I could get through. I honestly don't know what's on the other side.

All I know is there is no going back. I don't care I'm not going back. I can't.

As I continued, I could hear the creature of the night, the wind picked up a little more and I wrapped my arms around myself. I feel like I'm walking deeper and deeper into the woods.

I came across a fence, I guess I walked to the edge of the property. I walked along the fence and found a hole big enough for me to pass through.

Now that I'm over I really add a skip to my step. The excitement is coursing through me. I walked and walked for what felt like an hour, tonight seemed to be a long one.

I seemed to reach the back streets of an abandoned neighborhood. I walked through the ghostly street. I get an eerie feeling, so I decide to keep walking.

About an hour or so later I seem to make it to a city.

My feet ache at this point but I just need to find more people. It's still too isolated here. I've seen a few folks since I came out of the ghost neighborhood, when I reached the main city, I instantly recognized where I was.

I had only left the compound at night before but usually; I am escorted to the club and right back to the house. I don't really know my way around but walking and asking will get me to Japan. I just know I have to make it out of this city.

The Master still owns half of the businesses so I can't even get a job without potentially trapping myself back under his hand.

I will find somewhere to sleep for the rest of tonight. If I'm lucky maybe, just maybe I'll find something to eat.
