Chapter 8

"So you didn't tell him?"

"No, I don't know how to and what to expect when I do."

"Why?"

"Because you saved me! You! Out of all people, you saved me from nearly being raped! No offense but he doesn't really like you all that much, and I doubt he will if I tell him about yesterday," I said.

"He's going to find out sooner or later," he said.

"I know, but still, you saved me and I will never be able to thank you enough, but I'm just scared."

"Listen, if you're too scared to tell your boyfriend something, then maybe he isn't fit to be your boyfriend," he said getting up from the table and walking out of the dining hall.

I'm speechless. I don't know if I should be mad at him for dissing my boyfriend or that I should be at myself for not realizing that.

Yesterday went by slow. All I did was think about what Nash said to me. I was getting ready to go to the coffee shop with Nash. I haven't talked to him since yesterday morning. I was meeting him at the shop. It was only a block away from the hotel so I'm just going to walk.

The door dinged as I entered the shop. I didn't see Nash. Should I wait for him to get here to get coffee, or should I get coffee now. This is a really tough decision. I'm getting my coffee.

I walked up to a girl about my age, maybe a year or two older, "Hi can I get an iced caramel macchiato?"

"Here you go!" She said already having one ready with my name on it. Okay, Nash is here, but where?

"How much?" I asked. There's no way that he paid for it too.

"Oh it's already been paid for," she said.

Wow Nash may be a gentleman after all. "Thanks!" I said and turned around to find a table. There sat cheeky Nash at a table next to a window. He was not there a minute ago.

"You think you're so cute, don't you?" I asked sitting across from him.

"Slightly," he said laughing.

"So I've been meaning to tell you something," he said getting a little serious, "Cam knows, but I need to be the one to tell you."

Please don't say you're in love with me. Please don't say you're in love with me.
"I've told you this before, you can tell me anything."

He took in a deep breath, "The original Magcon is back."
