I bolted off like the flash. I turned corner after corner. Jeez, why is our room so far away from the show area? Focus Nash. Gotta find Rae. I turned the next corner then...SMACK.
I looked up to see what was over me. It was her. "I told ya I'd always catch you," I said smiling with her over me.
"I just can't believe I found you," she said smiling.
"We found each other."
She was leaning in to kiss me, but then we were infuriated by Macy clearing her throat. "I don't mean to ruin the moment but I can hear security running down the hall."
Rae looked down at me worried. "Got anywhere for us to hide?"
"Yeah," I said as we both got up, "follow me."
*Rae's P.O.V*
"Follow me." Nash took my hand then we started running toward the sound of screaming girls. As we were running I told him what happened. Wait. Is he taking us to the stage?
We turning more corners and ran through more halls until we were right behind the stage. "C'mon!" Nash said pulling me toward the steps.
"Woah woah woah!" I said stopping us, "are you sure we can go out there?"
"Yeah! It's the final show, you have to."
"But what about Bart?"
"What about Bart?" He asked confused.
"What do you think would happen if he sees us?"
"He couldn't do anything, you're on stage," Nash said chuckling.
"By this point, he'd do anything to publicly embarrass us. He wants our social media careers to disappear, and he won't care how that happens."
"Even if it hurts his career too." Macy added and I nodded in agreement.
Nash was thinking stuff over in his head, then he popped up like a light bulb turned on. "Wait here, and don't get caught," Nash said pulling us right next to the stairs. We hid behind the trash cans just in case.
*Nash's P.O.V*
I jumped back up on stage and the fans screamed. "Hey guys!" I said into the mic, "I got to ask you all a question, so listen up!"
Surprisingly the fans did quiet down and listened. I looked at Matt and Cameron and nodded at them. They smiled in relief because they knew that nod meant that I found them. "You all know who Rae is right?"
"Yeah," the fans all said.
"You all know that I love her very much," this time they screamed for a minute, and some of the boys whistled. I couldn't keep myself from smiling.
"Well as many of you probably figured," I said, "Rae didn't leave Magcon because she was falling behind in school, she was kicked out because Bart didn't need her anymore."
Murmurs fled through the room. "Yes, you heard me correctly. He used her to get all of us boys, to get you fans and your money." The girls really quieted down now.
"So when Rae did something wrong, he used it against her to get rid of her. He did the same thing to Macy and kicked her out too," I looked at Matt who looked down because he looked like he wanted to cry.
"So when Rae and Macy left, they went back home and had to live their normal lives. It broke Matt's and my's hearts. We barely got to talk to our girls because our schedules never lined up. During the day when Matt and I were free, Rae and Macy had school and practices after that. But at night when they were free, we were on stage having the greatest time with you guys. There were days when I'd only get a few words with Rae, and I hated it."
The crowd 'awed'.
"Well when Rae and Macy realized today was the last show, they wanted to surprise us by being in the crowd with you guys," I said, "Cameron even set them up with tickets! Well apparently when Bart found out they were here, he sent security for them, because he thought they'd ruin the final show. So he kept them in a room, without telling us, and told them they'd be stuck there until the show was over."
The fans looked around confused and slightly mad at Bart.
"Luckily, our girlfriends are pretty smart," I said smirking and looking back to Matt who was smirking too. "They easily picked a few locks, distracted the guards, then ran like hell, and eventually bumped into me."
They cheered a little.
"So I finally got them back stage, ready to bring them to you guys, but they got scared. They're scared that Bart will do something to them," I said looking at the other side of the backstage and Bart was standing there with his arms crossed looking pissed as ever.
I turned back to the fans, "Anyway, now we're here, and I kind of need your help to get our girls up here where they belong."
The fans started cheering and shouting their names. Matt and I ran backstage to meet them. "I can't believe you said that," Rae said smiling.
"The fans deserve to know the truth," I said then softly put one hand on her back and the other on her cheek, pulled her toward me, then connected out lips.
Fireworks, just like the first.
"I love you Rae," I said.
"I love you too, Nash."
