Josephine made up her mind to attend the Quidditch game this weekend, showing her support for her boyfriend and friends.

It is funny though, given that the game is against Gryffindor. She secretly hopes James loses...maybe that's mean.

But, she shrugs it off, knowing he is oblivious to her thoughts. Josie doesn't harbor any genuine hatred for James. Perhaps there is a lingering childhood resentment that has intensified over time, but she doesn't despise him.

In the back of her mind, he remains her older brother.

"Do you have a Slytherin scarf?" Dorcas asks, wrapping a Gryffindor scarf around her neck, likely stolen from Marlene.

"No," Josie replies as she finishes applying her lip gloss.

"You can have this one," Dorcas says, tossing her a scarf.

"Thanks," Josephine replies, draping the scarf around her neck before putting on her shoes.

A few minutes later, they leave the dorm and meet Pandora in the common room.

Pandora greets them with a smile before linking her arm with Josie. As Pandora and Dorcas chat, Josie's mind drifts elsewhere, missing something she can't quite pinpoint.

"Josie?" Dorcas inquires.

Josie snaps out of her reverie. Dorcas raises an eyebrow in concern. "I'm fine," Josie reassures her.

Dorcas remains unconvinced. "You know Regulus would be okay with you skipping this game, right? If you're tired, you can go back to the dorm."

"I want to be here."

Dorcas nods, and they make their way to the Quidditch stands.

Before reaching their seats, they attempt to find the boys, but they are nowhere in sight.

"Pandora, look, it's Xenophilius!" Pandora's face lights up as they reach the top of the Ravenclaw stand.

Josie says, "You can go sit with him if you want."

Pandora waves at him. "I want to hang out with you two," she explains in response to the question that Josie's face had silently asked.

That simple sentence nearly brings Josie to tears. She takes a deep breath and sits down.

Lately, Josephine has been feeling increasingly disconnected from everything, as if she has become nothing more than a collection of daily responsibilities. She harshly picks at her nails to ground herself. The match begins, and her gaze fixates on Regulus. It is frustrating how incredibly good he looks.

She watches as he soars higher in the sky, scanning for the elusive snitch. She pays little attention to whatever Remus is saying about the game; her focus is solely on Regulus.

He leans forward, zipping through the air so fast she can barely keep up. Gryffindor has more points than Slytherin, but if he catches the snitch, Slytherin will win.
