Josephine glances up from her notes, struggling to discern their location in the dimly lit forest during the care of magical creatures class.

Realizing she knows the professor's teachings by heart, she shuts her notebook and stashes her supplies in her bag. The overcast sky outside hints at imminent rain.

Lost in thought, she accidentally collides with Regulus, who has halted in front of her. "Sorry," she says, sidling up beside him with a small smile. His lips quirk in response.

"Hello, Josephine," he greets her, his pronunciation of her name carrying a certain charm.

Her gaze flickers to the fading blue streak in her hair, forgetting she needs to redye it. It seems like a hassle; she'll perhaps ask Alora for a spell.

Before she can speak to Regulus, a raindrop lands on her face, signaling an impending downpour. Josie glances upward, sighing as the rain begins.

Initially, only small droplets fall, unnoticed until lightning crackles. Startled, Josie bumps into Regulus again at the thunderous noise.

Regulus brushes his hand against her arm. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," she replies, exhaling. More rain splatters around them.

The professor ushers the class back to the castle. Josie and Regulus turn, starting their trek, despite the rain not yet being too heavy.

They flinch at another thunderclap. Josie feels a headache building from the noise.

Initially moving slowly, they hasten their pace as the rain intensifies.

"Can this get any worse?" she mutters, frustrated.

Regulus grins. The rest of the class bolts back to the castle as the rain pours harder.

Josephine sighs again, and she and Regulus quicken their stride to reach the castle sooner.

After a few minutes of rushing, they make it inside. Other students scatter before the professor can assign any additional tasks.

"Merlin, it's freezing," Josie grumbles as she and Regulus stroll through Hogwarts' corridors, both opting to leave swiftly to dodge any extra assignments. Rain has drenched her arms and sadly, her hair as well.

Hugging herself for warmth, Josie notices Regulus shivering slightly. "You're going to catch a cold," she remarks with concern.

"Oh, I'll manage," Regulus dismisses her worry.

"Don't lie," she retorts, observing his shivers. She tentatively reaches out, placing her hand on his arm. "See you're freezing"

Feeling him tense, she withdraws her hand quickly. "Sorry," she murmurs, rewrapping her arms around herself.

"Make sure you get warm, alright? I don't want you getting sick," Josie says, turning left toward her common room. However, Regulus halts her, grasping her shoulder and pulling her back.

"Goodbye, jolie fille," he says, planting a kiss on her forehead. She responds with a warm smile.

"Goodbye, Regulus," she replies before turning away and heading to her common room.
