Barty,

Happy Birthday! I hope you have a good day.

Josephine

With a quick flourish of her quill, Josephine finishes the note for Barty and places it, along with a small assortment of candies, to the side. Her attention turns to writing to Regulus.

Regulus,

How's your summer been? I hope you're alright. I miss you.

Just checking in to see how you're doing. I hope you have a good day.

Josephine

She pauses momentarily when writing "I miss you," even though it's only been a few days since their last meeting. Folding the parchment neatly, she hands both letters and a gift for Barty to Alora's owl before sending it off.

Despite the early hour, Josephine is already dressed, planning to head into town that day in search of a job. The absence of letters from Tom or Dumbledore regarding meetings is a welcome relief, allowing her to focus more on herself for a change.

Before leaving her room, she adorns herself with her rings.

In the kitchen, Alora and Karina bustle around, preparing food and beverages. Karina greets Josephine with a warm smile.

"Hello, Josie," she says as Josephine settles onto one of the kitchen stools.

Alora hands her a plate bearing two pancakes, setting a bottle of syrup nearby. "What drink would you like, dear?" Alora asks.

"Tea, please," Josephine replies.

As Alora begins brewing tea, Josephine tries to push away her guilty thoughts, savoring a few bites of the pancakes.

"Is it alright if I head into town today to look for a job?" Josie inquires.

Seated beside her, Karina responds , "You don't have to ask, estimado"(Dear)(Don't kill me if this is wrong)

"If you're seeking a job, go for it," Alora chimes in. "There must be plenty of opportunities in town," she adds, brushing a lock of her red hair away before settling down at the counter.

With a nod, Josephine finishes her meal and tea before rising from her seat.

"Thank you both. I'll catch up with you later," Josephine offers a warm smile before stepping out of their house.

The heat envelops her immediately as she exits. With a sigh, she begins her stroll. Alora's house isn't too far away, and the weather makes the walk enjoyable.

The paved road stretches to her right as she proceeds, occasionally cars pass by. Memories of Tom Riddle cornering her in an alleyway during her last walk linger momentarily, causing her to pause before continuing toward the small town.
