The last Hollingworth - a Hogwarts Story

Reunion

The days went by pretty quick.
I went over to Tom only one or two times.
Only because I couldn't bare to be alone.
We didn't talked much.
I was just not alone.

Tom and I decided to start our semester project early to get it over with.
He sat on my desk writing and I sat on my floor surrounded by books to look up things he told me to.
We were actually a pretty good Team.
Even though Teamwork really wasn't Tom's strength.

I looked up as my Phone rang.
It was Mattheo.

„Yes? Is everything ok?"

I asked directly.

„Wooow why shouldn't it be? Can't I call my best friend?"

„Matty you never call. You would even text me if it were an emergency"

I laughed slightly.
Tom looked slightly back.
He clearly wasnt very happy that Mattheo disturbed our studies.

„So? Why are you calling?"

„Because I have a suprise for you El"

I could hear his amusement.

„I don't know if I should be excited or scared"

„Definitely scared"

Tom mumbled and I chuckled.

At that moment it knocked on my door.

„Bloody hell what does everyone want from me?"

I got up and opened my door.
Right in front of it was Mattheo.
My face lit up instantly.
I hadn't expected him back so soon.

„Mattyyy"

I screamed and jumped into his arms.
He lifted me up and carried me a little backwards into my room.

„Missed me huh?"

„Of course! I have to say it's a great suprise"

I grinned.

„Oh that's not the suprise, sunshine"

I raised my eyebrows.
Then Mattheo finally noticed Tom.
His eyes darted from Tom to me and back.

„Am I interrupting something?"

„No we're just working on the semester project"

I said smiling.

„Yeah we're done for today anyways"

Tom said cold and got up.

„Oh you wanna go already?"

I asked a little sad.

„I can't stand such sentimtal nonsense"

he said cold and roled his eyes.

„Missed you too brother"

Mattheo joked.

„Did you talk to mother?"

Tom asked looking down at Mattheo.

„Oh yes I did. She said we should bring her over at the start of the summer break and then we can see if she can stay"

„Mhm. That's a start"

Tom hummed in thoughts.

„Wait really? She said yes?"

I jumped a bit and smiled bright.

„Yes. And I will do anything that you can stay"

Mattheo said with a dead serious face.

„I'm sure we will find a way"

Tom said cold and turned to go.

„Oh and thank you"

Mattheo gritted through his teeth before Tom was at the door.

„Don't. I just did what friends do. Or whatever"

He waved off and left.
Mattheo and I stared at each other.

„Did he just said we we are friends?"

I asked shocked.

„He wouldn't even admit that I'm his brother. And now you two are friends? Wow"

We bursted out laughing.

„So what is that suprise?"

I asked now curious.
He held up his hand and opened the door.

„Come on I show you"

I grabbed his hand and followed him.
We went down into the Common room and I almost screamed.
On the deep green couches were everyone.
Pansy, Astoria, Daphne, Theo, Enzo, Blaise and Draco.

„What but I thought you guys couldn't come earlier"

I screamed while I hugged the girls in a big group hug.

„We planned this right before the break. We came back together. Couldn't leave you alone to long could we?"

Pansy smiled bright.
I felt tears fill my eyes.
I jumped on the boys and giggled.

„God I love you guys"

Every doubt, every bad thought or feeling were washed away.
After some time I noticed that Tom was sitting in a corner of the common room the whole time.

I hadn't noticed him.
I looked over and gave him a warm smile as he looked up.
He diddnt smile back but slightly nodded.
It was like in a dream.
Like everything worked out.
I didn't had to go to that horrible place anymore.
